    Wow 👌. I love this project.
    I always wanted to try something like this myself to upscale and improve one of the invading reptile toys to MP dinobot size.
    I am really looking forward to seeing the finished product.

    Wow, I remember when Felzbug was doing a Transformer review years ago he said that he could tell that whoever designed the sculpt put a lot of love into it. Your videos clearly show me what he meant by that.

      @@Doiboy35 big and heavy. the heavy part is what i worry about…

      @Doiboy35 5 месяцев назад

      @@MantisNineNines That's a valid concern, though I'm sure it will be fine. Is printed resin heavy? I'm more of a filament printer guy so I don't know.

    • @MantisNineNines
      @MantisNineNines  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@Doiboy35 resin is heavy. There are some nice plasticy varieties but other than some joints I opted for standard resin for rigidity given the size. Its a lot like polystone if youve ever handled that. Anyway, if this fails it’ll be from the weight, in which case I’ll try it again with all I’ve learned!

      @Doiboy35 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@MantisNineNines I see. I wonder if coating the joints in something "grippy" would help in that situation. Like Flex seal or the fingers of a latex glove. In any case, it'll be a nice display piece when it is done.

      @@Doiboy35 yup, worst case I’ll glue it and have a nice statue :) no matter what it has been fun!
