Being a designer I really have understood what he said about "thoda sa dil dal na!" ... totally got it, sensibility is more important. Brilliant video ❤️
One cannot get more geniune podcast with so much knowledge ever, so natural so enthusiasm, no doubt why he runs such a big sales engine, he knows his game.
He convinces me that being a good teacher can make you good at sales. I have always found sales daunting although I enjoy serving customers, enjoy consulting. I am from Bangalore - a product person, but at heart, I am an artsy person - a Mumbaikar - kahaani mangta hai. This is truly a masterclass on sales and marketing in the simplest language - a mini MBA. Btw, Aditya Birla Group was a client I enjoyed the most in my Focus Group discussions - the HR head was awesome and talking to the sales newbies and meeting the leadership in operations, this is one company that build people grounds up. It was thrilling to build the learning and talent development solution. So, I get his style.
True gem Jaimit you are. I have never seen a leader at your stage to have so much of empathy and emotional touch to everything you do. Your clarity of thought are amazing.
Amazing Podcast. I work in a big PSB as a marketing officer, this podcast had a lot to offer me about how to approach my daily work. Sales is hard folks whether it's in a private or a public company. Although we in PSBs are recruited in all India exams as a generalist officers, sales is something that never leaves us alone being in BFSI industry, we have to willingly or otherwise graduate to that role. So I would say these lessons about empathy, enthusiasm, repeatability the contrast of sales badhana vs sales karna the value of relationships and good work ethic are all very valuable. I will keep revisiting this particular episode. Thank you Mr. Jaimit and Mr Adarsh.
Great crash course video for me for sales and marketing as a newbie than reading a boring sales and marketing course or book . Interviewer did a good job speaking less and just asking right short questions
18:38 I understood what sir is tryna tells us, for instance if you live in Hyderabad you must have heard of Nilofer Cafe, who sells just a cup for tea for 50rs and it's being Apple (iPhone) of chai market and most of us won't even realise this cafe run because of there branding premium
Me for sure. Absolutely inspiring. This is like the best conversation I've seen in a while, I remember watching that conversation with James Caan years ago. But this has definitely changed the way I view sales and how I should view the world. Corporates make you believe sales is all about numbers, they fire people based on number of sales without training or fixing the input metrics even though a lot of people work hard. This conversation has actually touched my heart and it has touched it hard. I generally don't comment on videos, this may be the first after many years. Amazing questions by the interviewer, good stuff. Have been starting a business and this has changed the way I'll be running it, change in business model, change in the world. Can't thank you guys enough.
I understand what he is talking about coming from the retailer family, The more time you can rotate your stock, the more fresher stock will be there. Having too much stock became liability. My father used to stock for 6 month now i have reduced it to 2 months , we eliminated dead stock problems, and now, on the way of doing faster rotation.
One of the best Podcast I ever watched on RUclips🤩 Really much needed video and really great insights and information. Definitely going to implement this in my startup. Once again thank you team for such a great content. This is what we call real Podcast.🙏🏼
A psychopath like me purchases coke or Pepsi for ₹100 on the ground floor super market and then carry it to 3 rd floor food court and order food at KFC or McD or Domino's .
Hi, I enjoyed the video. Few take aways if you could have explored more about the individual experience from his life from childhood to his current time. How the individual travelled . It give much bigger insight how they transformed.
@@jaimitvideo Oh wow! I came in when Father Adolf retired and Father Edward D'Souza took over! I joined DBM in the 6th standard and the earlier kids loved Father Adolf a lot. Sorry I didn't get to experience him 🙂
I would have been loved if you have probred more about his other hat of teaching. What made him to do it, also how has he managed it. He made a lot of reference about Gujju community how has it helped and the thought process of that community. Also the probe about Bengalurean mind set to a bomabi mindset
Please no! The guy made his money by selling a crazy amount of franchises & then just left! Now there’s no quality or taste left & all his franchises have run into losses! The only thing they capitalised on was people jumping on bandwagons for franchise models. I am a chai lover but I hate yewale chai! It sucks! Please don’t call it apple atleast.
bro, pune mein sab jageh pe 12 ki milti hai chai :( Today, mera brief is broken, internet pe itna case study aur podcast dekhke bharosa nhi krna chaie. Itna bhi kuchh nhi h yewale chai :(
Good information but focused in positive points . Seems to be sponsored video. Transit card is game of only 6-8 months only😂 More replica will come faster
The interviewer's side of the conversation is lagging. The lip sync to response is not right. Please edit that properly. Overlap his response of video with audio.

Loved the fact that we need to have empathy and enthusiasm to sell anything
The presence of a guru gives you hope, a way to think and most importantly how to instill love in your work. Its the same feeling for jaimit
Pure gold of a podcast. Loved every minute of it!
Just love this...better than so called startup founders...now I understood that I must build business not startup!
That's the perfect takeaway, Arshad 💙
