    Yvette Carnell is a former Hill and DNC staffer who co-founded ADOS (American Descendants of Slavery) and is the originator of the #ADOS hashtag. The movement advocates for reparations & a transformative Black Agenda. She is the founder of the weekly political show BreakingBrown, and also a writer of politics, race and wealth. Her show was critical to making Reparations a policy platform for the 2019 Democratic primary debates. Before embarking on a career in news media, she served as a Congressional aide, first to Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), and later to former Congressman Marion Berry (D-AR).
    Yvette Carnell is introduced by Dr. Kevin Cosby, President of Simmons College of Kentucky and founder of The Angela Project, a 3-year conference on Reparations and racial justice.
