I have lived in Wyoming my whole life. I have been to Florida before so fun. I love hearing that you say 55 degrees is cold. We are in heaven when it is 55 degrees! 38 degrees right now and about three foot of snow in my yard still. Love the inspiration that you give me that I can do it!! God bless stay warm!

Hey Lynn. I love watching your videos. You mentioned wanting to use a chore chart. My daughter is the master. She has given me 7 beautiful grandkids and she is super organized. I stayed with the kids while she and her hubby took a vacation to Florida. The first morning we woke up and the kids trickled into the kitchen and made cereal and toast. As they finished, they got up and all went their separate ways; bathroom, family room, younger kids rooms, etc. It was like clockwork. I didn’t have to do anything. They showed me their chore chart hanging in the kitchen. She has a grid with responsibilities listed along the top and kids name down the left side. Every week she puts an X in the box the child is responsible for and then the next week the X gets moved to the right. I hope that makes sense. The 3 and 5 year old are only responsible for their rooms and the older children check in on them to supervise. It was amazing to watch. I should mention she is a teacher so delegating responsibility is something she has mastered. Hope that helps!☺️
Every day is different with delegating chores for the kids in our house. I will usually write their chores on a big white board and they check them off as they go. There are plenty of days when they don't do chores depending on what's going on that day and I prefer to clean myself when it's a deep cleaning job. Thanks for making it real and for all your motivational videos! I'm sorry you get criticized for doing/not doing things a cetrain way. Most of us are not brave enough to post videos of our homes and daily routines! So thanks again for doing all you do!

The glitter in your white island is so beautiful 😍. Ruby and Hazel and so good together, the joy of fur babies is amazing unconditionally love xx. I needed this so much been a tough day , we had to brave the shop today for bread and fresh food, stressed out so not a productive day . Watching this has calmed me and got me ready to start again tomorrow.. a fresh day in doors but safe.

💛 When you talked about just putting things in the room it belongs and then going back to what you were doing it seems like duh of course but I am horrible at going to put something away then finding something else and being like I have to get this clean now and then it feels like nothing fully gets completed. That really was a great tip.

Re: TRIM PAINT...You can put oil based over latex paint but to paint latex over oil you need a special primer. The downside to oil based paint is the smell and the clean up but in my opinion, oil is more durable, doesn't yellow and is more economical and labor intensive because you don't have to keep repainting it every few years.
I painted my kitchen cabinets with white oil based paint over dark wood in 2007. After almost 13 years of scrubbing with bleach and scrubby pads I finally see a few areas that need a touch up but nothing major. If there is any kind of glossy sheen to the latex paint you are going over, I would recommend using a gripper/primer to give the oil paint something to grab onto.

Hey there, My Son takes the trash out, cleans his bathroom, his room sweeps the garage and gets the mail. My daughter cleans her bathroom, mops the kitchen and dining room floor, she unloads the dishwasher and cleans her room. They both receive allowance every week.

You can paint oil over latex but not the other way around. Either way, I would recommend a light sanding even if painting latex on latex.

Ive always cleaned at night. When i worked all day I'd come home work in the yard till dark ,then clean house. Im sill that way.

a HEPA filter should cut down on dust if you got one to put in the main rooms of the house. I have one in my main living area and one in my bedroom and It's really helped cut down on dust and dander from my two cats.
My hubby stays on top of the filters. I want the super expensive ones but he’s an AC contractor and does all of that.

To get rid of hard water in your faucet etc; use white vinegar which i have found is as effective as CLR.

Outdoor stuff maybe the lawn, or gardening OR MAYBE YOUR DECK IS OLD AND IN NEED OF REFINISH.
I know this video is kinda old ! I’m trying to catch up .. but the paint question just make sure you rough up or sand the surface pretty decent before you put the oil based paint on or it will NOT stick !!

How do you clean and dry your microfiber cloths? I use straight hot water, powdered Tide, a half scoop of oxyclean. Then dry in dryer on low with no fabric softener.
I wash them like my towels with my towels separately.
