Well, motive needs to be a factor also; and if they are applying (for a position) just because they fit a communist-incompetent trait, then it does not bode well for anyone else wishing to survive more of their future. My company, for instance, has never - in its 18 year existence, had anything like an "employee of the month" - but used to recognize employees based on merit and unique accomplishments in their duties. But in reaction to the events of the last several years, the company decided to develop a DIEB working group with outside consultant support - which has now instituted a "Highlighted Employee of the Month, sponsored by DIEB" -- guess what type of employees are NOT in the running to be recognized? This type of policy is not good, from any angle, against any group, from any perspective. It will not lead to good.

There should be no diverse criteria, the same argument applies.
Meritocracy is the only way to have a useful functioning society. Are they the best person for the job? that's it nothing more. If this means all of the jobs are taken by white people or by gay people or black people so be it, because it has nothing to do with those attributes and everything to do with their ability.

Agreed, brother. And I thank you for putting it this way, because everyone’s favorite argument is “you’re a racist!” and “you just want white people to -insert here-“.. and that’s absolutely not the case.. it is simply, can we please get back to “whoever is most qualified for the job, gets the job?”.. no one cares (or, no reasonable, logical American cares) what the color of their fkn skin is, or what “private parts” someone has, we just want the person that will serve their duty better than anyone else.. why is it so difficult to leave it that simply? I think this gentleman made that point in a fantastic fashion and your comment expounded on that, so thank you 🙏🏻
