Fun behind the scenes fact - Right after wrapping the final shot on this video, my main microphone's connector broke and it went straight in the harbor 🥲 Not so fun behind the scenes fact - Courtney is better but this summer has been tough for her. We're focusing more on taking it slow while she recovers so our next video might not be out for a while. If it has been a while since you have been to a doctor, make sure you stay on top of your health and advocate for yourself when you know something is wrong. We were extremely fortunate, and unfortunately many others are not.
As a previous owner of Anticipation, I love that you are restoring her. Our lives aboard her was a fantastic adventure. Aground, or afloat, in storm or on hook. Anticipation always carried us safely through the years of adventure.
An interesting comment as I also owned Anticipation. We lived on Padre Island when I owned her from 1998 until I think 2007. She NEVER failed us and we sailed her from Texas to the upper and lower Bahama chain 2 different times and off shore at Port Aransas. She was a strong and safe boat!!
Life always gets in the way. Hold the course. All boats are projects. There is no better way to learn everything about your boat then putting in the hours crawling through everything. Good luck. Fair winds...
I wouldn't touch it for all the money in China. I don't like sailboats older than 1984 seriously. If it doesn't have a sugar scoop on the sailboat how are you going to safely get into your sailboat if you fall in the water under sale have you thought that one out the gunnels of your boat is a meter 2 m a meter and a half. When sailboats get older than 1984 there's just too many problems seriously

@@CaptRon817 Hopefully we'll get Anticipation back to the Bahamas sooner rather than later!
Nice job guys! Can't wait to watch all your content.
Welcome! Glad to have you here!
The polyester smell is no joke! Great job with these repairs!
Thank you!! 😊
Best of luck to both of you - I look forward to both of you returning, by the way! I'm looking at a 43' 1978 GS this week.
Awesome boat! Love the 43' GS series!

Well said!
Try to use composite boards instead of wood, you’ll never have to worry about rot and it’s half the weight.
Yep! We’re using as much composite as we can and the plywood we use gets soaked in resin to make sure it’s waterproof
im retired from sailing now. But I bought and refubished 11 boats in my time. I got more fun working than sailing.
That's awesome! It can definitely be fun at times!
Great video guys! Well done!!! 🎉🎉🎉💜
Thank you for all of your help!! 🥳🎉
@@twohalf-hitches I think this one was all you! 💜💜💜
Awesome job!
Thank you so much!!

It’s definitely not for everyone!
Women have a more sensitive sense of smell and better color vision.
Very true!
Less talk more action.
You can put the video on mute and get all action and no talk
