HUGE THANKS to ExpressVPN for offering all Food Ranger viewers 3 months free and 49% off their yearly package using this link: ExpressVPN.com/Thefoodranger . Travelers need ExpressVPN to stay safe online and to unblock any site. I personally use it for Netflix, even while at home in Canada, but also while traveling to unblock content and episodes that are geoblocked, and I also use it for security, because airport wifi and hotel wifi is often very insecure, leaving my data vulnerable. By connecting to one of their servers around the world, it’s just like my computer or phone is in that location, and all data sent while connected to their VPN is secure, safe, and private from others to see, so I know that my data won’t be hacked or looked at by others. Thanks so much for watching, and we have tons more videos coming up for you! Please leave me a comment below letting me know what you thought about this episode, thanks so much!!!
Hello, this is really a great job tasting all that delicious food in Mexico. I really enjoy watching you" in all that food market's and have" the feeling" to be in Mexico too. I like that Video's. Sending greetings from Germany 👍

Yep. I am hispanic. I love Indian food so much. In fact, any curry dish is like comfort food for me. I love Biryani so much. It is like a super spiced up Arroz con Pollo or Cabrito. :)
as Mexican what amazes me the most is how fast you learn our slangs and interact with our people, but imho you're barely scratching the true extent of our street food so i hope you get to try some of our huge variety of street food.
dude i dont know how your chinese is, but is amazing your spanish, you have some problems with grammar and accent, but your motivation and respect for others cultures is astonishing, don't you ever dare to apologize for talking another language, you are killing it.
On the contrary I find he is the opposite, he is offensive and rude. Just look at the faces of some of the people is is talking to, they look like they want to kick his butt. An -A for motivation and a F for respect.
stkbkr1 How is it rude or disrespectful? He is making an effort to go out in the world and experience other cultures. The locals look happy that he is enjoying their food and communicating with them. If people didn't make an effort to cross language and culture barriers the world would be a much more divided place than it already is.
So, stkbkr1, someone named "Julio" says his attempts are appreciated, and you, who do not seem to be Hispanic, disagree. There is a huge difference between murdering a language and making an honest attempt. Take it from this gringa... you're wrong.
Trevor, thank you so much for representing my country in such a respectful and beautiful way. You keep reminding me why I am proud to be a Mexican. Keep up the great work!

The reason you didn't got a tlacoyo is because as the lady said at 10:14 (which you didn't heard while doing your traditional WHOOOOA) tlacoyos only come stuffed with either beans, lenghts or curd. You asked for a flor de calabaza tlacoyo which sounds like a yummy experiment but it's not a regular preparation, so you got them in a quesadilla as they are usually eaten. :)

I personally don't eat without a drink. My parents often have a glass of water at the end of the meal and they tell me that I am filling up with liquid when I continue to drink water or soda during a meal. I think that it helps me to digest my food because I've had all but 1 metre of my intestine removed over 18 years and 6 surgeries. That's my excuse anyway. I hope you all have a great day.

NXKDXR trust me everyone is so friendly, the atmosphere is amazing. I don’t know what part you’re going to but Mexico City has these gardens where they are so gorgeous and down in Michoacán ( my state ) we have these trees that connect and go into a whole circle and it’s so lovely I think you’ll enjoy the vibe and the food there!
@@Antrax575 I'm being very touristy and heading to the Riviera Maya! Mexico City sounds amazing, I might have to look at doing that next time! Is there anything you recommend that I need to do/eat/drink/see?? :D :D :D
NXKDXR oh the islands that’s gonna be fun that’s more south of where I’m from well south east but try as many “ aguas frescas “ which is fresh water but it’s more like kool aid except their horchata, melon, sandia, etc. Which those are really my top favorite but as far as food live the moment whatever you see and think is good go for it even if it looks kinda weird but smells good chances are it’s gonna taste really really good. But I’m sure where you’re going they’ll speak more English since their tourist attractions compared to the rest of the states but have fun and enjoy. You are my hero, also you need to go to any coastal area and ask for ceviche or camaron tostadas with chiltepines (chiltepines are one of the spiciest chiles in mexico, tiny little beeds with no flavor at all but an explosion of heat)
Hey @Trevor James Please guide me in CHINA ,, I am going to be there from 1st of March till 7th. i would love to be there with you ,,, and yes i can eat any f*** thing in my life .. :p
Trevor thank you for showing real mexican food, and not what the rest of the world thinks mexican food is (those tex-mex'ed hard shell, lettuced, sour creamed insipid tacos americans have duped everyone into thinking it's real mexican food)
Same thing with any country that has world famous cuisine such as India, Thailand, China, Spain, Italy. Go anywhere in the UK and all of the food representing the countries I've mentioned are way off the mark, especially the Chinese.
John Doe thats really rude of you, whichever part of the world you are from, we are only people that makes up a place, you are still going to be dead at the end if your life finished even if you live in cave
i love posole i was introduced to it by a few mexicans i work with in califorina. i can not get enough of it.its like the best stew your mom can make mexican style.
Thank you for showing the awesome food of México. I hope you enjoy your stay and fall in love with the the rest of mexican cuisine!! Keep up the good work man, love watching your videos. Provecho!!!
Hi Trevor. More awesomeness as usual! The tomato onion coriander salsa is called pico di gallo. It is ubiquitous in mexican cuisine. Love your work! Love from New Zealand.
I am mexican but have lived in the us since i was 9 years old. I can tell you we sure do not have such delicious food here in california. I loved the video i would love to get a chance to go to mexico city one day and try real authentic mexican food
YOU NEED TO GO TO OAXACA! The land of the seven moles, you have to try them all. The mezcal (only made in Oaxaca), the tlayudas (think of it of as a Mexican pizza), and most especially to try the ancient and delicious Zapotec food. Oaxaca is where it's at!
great job, trevor! love watching how you interact with everyone. looking forward to seeing more videos and want to hear from ting too. jill from florida
There's actually ways to cook nopales so that you remove the sliminess/mucousy factor. The first time I tried them I didn't like them for that reason, until I finally tried some that were "non-slimy," they taste pretty good once you prepare them that way.
Mexican food is more than tacos there are 32 states in Mexico and every state has a different type of food I don’t blame you is just a wrong perception of the world
I love your videos so much. You make me really jealous, but your style of describing your experience and your bright smile always inspires me. Thank you so much
I showed this video to my mom. She got teary-eyed and started reminiscing about her relatives she doesn't see anymore in Mexico. She also said the nopales taco made her hungry, she wants to start making those for the family now! x3
allmyjm I live in the US and it's not hard to find any of these foods here in "the states". Just find a Mexican market and chat with the people there...
Once you travel to Mexico you can’t stop. I went three years ago and have been going every year ever since. The people are friendly, the food is amazing, and the culture is just beautiful. June can’t come fast enough.
Hi Trevor...been a part of ur journey as an audience since u were 3k subs old. Have seen all videos and loved every one of them. You are a very warm person with real love for food and travel. The whole India tour is super awesome. Hope u come again for more cities. Your innocent efforts have drawn me to buy ur merch. Will be doing that by tomorrow. Big Fan
If you visit Puebla you’ll have to visit Atlixco, Puebla which is about 20 minutes from the state capital. It’s absolutely beautiful with amazing food! ❤️
hello Trevor! i heard in your last video that you will come here in Puebla, i would like to offer you to give you a free tour in Puebla, I'm an mexican chef and also speak english, not perfect but a good one, I'll be very happy if you are interested, i will take to the best places in Puebla to eat traditional food
Usually you used the nopal as a complement, also you can eat as you did, but it’s better with meat ! I’m really happy that you’re enjoying our food, Mexico is your home, you’re welcomed every time I love your videos!
Trevor n Ting, you have brought us to another colourful dimension of various level of food that is definitely giving mouth watering.Hats off 👍 n hola Mexico.

Belltown Daisy if you visit Mexico you have to go to Oaxaca we have delicious food and beautiful beaches!
I remember my grandparents used to make a lamb stew buried in the ground the whole night, it was wrapped with cactus leaves... amazing...

So delicious!!
I watch your show every Saturday morning, and I make sure to make a huge breakfast so I can watch along while eating lol so I don't get hungry.
There's actually ways to cook nopales so that you remove the sliminess/mucousy factor. The first time I tried them I didn't like them for that reason, until I finally tried some that were "non-slimy," they taste pretty good once you prepare them that way.
When nopales are in boling water, just add a litte water jet (some add a small ice cube) in order to reduce sliminess.
Well I guess Mexican love's tacos I love Mexico from philippines
We mexicans have a joke of our cuisine
"What is mexican food??? Just tortilla and salsa"
We Mexicans love our Filipino brothers
