Thank you ima try this. Just bought babyliss lo pro fx blade gets instantly hot.

You should do exactly the reverse on babyliss blade, to reduce the pressure, you should push both ends backward. If you push it too much it will lead to a bad cutting performance. The process is reversed because of design of the babyliss springs.

I also bought the lo pro, and it gets waaaay tooo warm!
