Floor Framing SketchUp Model Assignment 🏗️

In this video for Bluegrass Community & Technical College ACH 100 Construction Documents 1, we will be using SketchUp FREE web version to build the floor framing for a residential project. Instructions for the assignment are as follows:

Then produce a SketchUp model which includes:
1. Open your SketchUp Footing & Foundation Wall SketchUp model.
2. Save a copy of the model with a new name "Floor Framing".
3. On top of the of the concrete foundation wall place a neoprene double-bulbed sill sealer, 1/4" from outside face of foundation wall.
3. A pressure-treated 2x6 mud sill flush with outside face of foundation wall.
4. 1 1/8" x 11 7/8" rim joist flush with outside face of foundation wall.
5. 11 7/8" wood I-joist @ 16" o.c.
6. 3/4" Advantech subfloor flush with outside face of foundation wall.
