    I assume this ranking is based on what the player is capable of. If so, it makes sense for alcaraz to not be in S tear because he is far more capable than this but this season most likely was close to fritz's best level so S tier makes sense.

    medvedev: australia final, wimbledon semifinal, lost at the uso in 1/4 to Sinner(can't blame him for that). Is it a D tier season? wtf...

      Since Wimbledon he has been weak asf
      AO was the flukiest GS run this year, the guy would've lost to Atmane if Terrence didn't have fitness of a 13 year old
      Sinner sonned him this whole season, and at the ATP Finals he ate s***, so if there is anyone who actually rates this season from Medvedev than I can't do anything about it...

      @@thepuristsnightmare many players from c and b tier would have chosen to reach ao final wimb semis and uso 1/4. Almost everybody can lose to Sinner, it shouldn't be the point. Yes he was in a bad form at the finals, but how many players in the world reaches it...?

      Well other players are not Medvedev, so I rank them accordingly

    Cobolli & Fils in the same tier seems wrong considering the differences in achievement

    Draper deserves A tier he gained aura as one of the most dangerous guys this season and fils deserves A tier cuz he is 20 and last year he literally only won one 250 and now he bested a very dangerous zverev in front his home crowd on clay.Even if fils hasn't had good runs in slams he made the top 20 outta nowhere and that has to be acknowledged 💪👍

    2 GS is not good enough for S tier? Not just any 2 GS the Channel slam?

    • @drewshape
      @drewshape 8 часов назад +7

      No I think he's correct there. He is ranking player's seasons and achievements ***compared to their potentials and expectations*** -- for example S tier for Fritz despite only two 250 titles because by reaching the finals in US Open and ATP finals he went above and beyond what was expected of him. Alcaraz on the other hand reached incredibles highs (Channel slam, Bejing title v. Sinner) but also didn't perform up to his standards for the rest of the season. He finished ±5,000 points away from Sinner in the ranking, and third overall -- so he would have not have deserved anything more than an A tier.

      OK but like Berrettini Carlos had two major injuries he had to overcome, the ankle and arm. He was also sick as a dog at ATP finals. People forget this.

    • @tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten
      @tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten 7 часов назад +2

      @@brendajohnson5525 Both were not major injuries, a major injury is when you are out for multiple months.
      His ankle didn't even bother him for more than a week, but his arm definitely held him back.
      But Sinner missed at least as many torunaments as Carlos and still got many more points and won much more.

    i’m glad that I also predicted Giovanni’s rise, watching him play on the challenger TV since January being a French players fan, but bro I did not predict that the guy could win an atp 500 right off the bat 🤣
