    Bob really appreciate being able to go back and rewatch videos such as this. So over the past 2 weeks I have received 3 separate shipments of my e3600LFP and (2) ep3000-48v. Yesterday registered them with Pecron and racked them on the default Harbor Freight dolly.....:-) Today powered them on to check the charge. Respectively 75%, 50%, 50%. Went ahead and cabled them which was a bit of a challenge to actually see the system dial for the ep3000s. As a 70+ senior had to resort to getting down close and using my iPhone to magnify the dial to see the arrow direction. The system charging to 100% occurred in about 3 hours. All good there. I had to get back to Google to find out shutting down the system. Now waiting for my 10 circuit 30amp transfer switch to be installed right after the new year. I will then test the system as well as testing charging the Pecrons with my 2500w 30amp propane generator/inverter. Still waiting on one of the new 300w Pecron solar panels. Just could not pass on the Christmas sales!

      The batteries should have been within 10% of each other like it says in the manual, but I don't think it will hurt them with 75%, 50% & 50% :)
      P.S. Great update :)

    Nice video Bob. I am a visual person and for me it would have been nice to have either a diagram or a closer video shows which the ports you use as you add multiple batteries. I know that is very elementary but Pecron's instructions are not good. Maybe once I add batteries 2 and 3 it will be self explanatory.

      They ports are numbered also :)
      First Battery to port 1 and port 2 to the second battery :)
      same with the next 2 batteries :)

    Last week placed my order for an e3600lfp plus (2) ep3000s and a pv300 panel.. Will be getting a 10 circuit manual transfer switch installed as well. The will be in addition to my e600 and an Ecoflow River2 300w systems. This will serve as our emergency home backup system. For any extended outage I have a Chempion 2500w duel fuel (will power with propane) generator/inverter for charging batteries as needed. Living in the PNW solar not the most reliable, especially in the winter. I have installed 6.03kw of rooftop solar that provides about 50% of my yearly energy needs. We have a propane fireplace and cook top so furnace and hot water will not be backed up. They say it is only a matter of time before we have a major earthquake. As always this is insurance you hope to never use.

    Thanks for the update Ramblin Bob, just in time we are finally receiving our EP3000 Extra Battery for the EP3600LFP tomorrow, quick question, what do these EP3000 come set as when you bought all 4 extra batteries, do they all come set to "0" be default, I am guessing thats what they default to, so if they do I would just leave it at "0" since its my 1st battery. anyhow greetings to you and Mrs Ramblin Bob, I can really start using that extra battery as the last week has been horrible with hardly any sun and I had to turn on the grid a few times, but with this extra battery we should be good even with no sun at all, this is a great system indeed! Appreciate you both!

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  Месяц назад +2

      All 4 of our batteries came pre-set to "0"
      So just make sure that if you add more batteries to change the number to 1,2,3
      The first battery should stay on "0" just like we said in the video.

    Bob question, your Pecron stack of three systems on your dolly did you use the connecting screws and larger bumpers or just stack them as they came? Thanks in advance!

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  29 дней назад +1

      Just stacked them as they came.....Set them on there and hooked up all the cables and called it a day.
      Pecron has those locking brackets and screws that come with some systems, but we never wanted them. This way, we can unplug & grab each piece and more it anywhere I want to in minutes.
      Just wish that the e3600lfp could be stacked on one dolly instead of two, but the cables are too short for that so that full system had to go on 2 dollys :(
      P.S. It would have stacked and looked like a large server rack battery :)
      Like this.....
      [e3600lfp]
      [ep3000]
      [ep3000]

      It works on either port, but we recommend using that first port (left, towards the front of the system) because that is how all the other pecron systems worked, so they probably have the same setup as the e2000lfp & e1500lfp :)

    I'm curious about the battery balancing. Why would it be a "bad" thing to introduce or hook up a battery that isn't within 10% charge of the other batteries. I recently received three batteries and connected them to the E3600LFP....Two were in the 60% range and 1 was showing 0. Connected all three and overnight they were all at 100%.

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  9 дней назад +1

      If you put together any batteries that are very different voltages, the heavy flow of power from one to another can and will hurt the battery connections or the cells ;)
      P.S. Think of 2 pools with different amounts of water and you connect them, whoosh...the water flows to the other one too fast and causes problems with heat or stress on the cables and cells :)
      P.P.S. I would not recommend ever doing that again :(

    Hey bob finally pulled the and and got a 3600 at great price $1346 with trolley and your discount. Cant hook up App no matter what i do hit reset it doesn't work same message on phone Timeout or timeout binding! It came with 63% so charged it ,the other problem when it charged to 100% the watts in did not shut off, if showed 1732 in it stayed there even though a 100% charged. I have a few different power stations bluetti and oupes easy to connect and reach for help. Pecron 3600 is more difficult even turning on and off. i heard a faith chirping i think when dc was on . im disappointed with this one i had a E600 no problems

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  23 дня назад

      That is not our discount code, that is the code from pecron's website for first time buyers. (we just let everybody know about it)
      1. You have to let the system fully balance even after you get to 100%
      (It will take up to 30-60min to finish) The cells have to balance. Power will still show coming in.
      *This must be done to finish the charging cycle to balance those cells.
      2. Do you have app version 1.7? we had headaches with almost every version of the app until we got to 1.7
      3. That faint chirping was in many of our videos, we explained that many times. it is the fans starting and stopping.
      We have talked about every single one of these questions many times in pecron videos.
      We love our e3600lfp and use it 24-7-365

    • @vincenttony81
      @vincenttony81 22 дня назад

      @@RamblinBobReviews thanks bob i have not watched all your videos. im recharging it now even though its a 100% charged, i dont know what version the app is their is no way for me to know other than i have pecron app down loaded on phone very vague. Pecron should let customers know about what describing first time charging. I trying it but im not comfortable charging it when it says 100% charged you could understand this. thank you for assistance.

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  22 дня назад

      We are always happy to help you when we can :)
      If there is power still going into the system, that means that it is not 100% done yet and is finishing the job you told it to do by plugging it into the wall.
      *It is balancing the cells and correcting the shunt for a proper reading.
      And this does not have to do with first time charging your e3600lfp, you have to
      do this "EVERY TIME" you charge a power station or any battery to 100% from any company.
      And yes, most people feel uncomfortable about this because they do not understand this about batteries :(
      Go back and watch "ALL" of our videos on this system and learn about the e3600lfp before you use it, this is the best idea that I can think of right now.
      This is why we make these videos, to try to help people....
      There are way to many people buying these power stations that do not even understand what they are doing, or how to use them safely.
      And that can be extremely dangerous to say the least. These are not toys....Electricity can and will burn down your entire house in minutes if not used properly. And the e3600lfp can power your entire house, that is a lot of power in that little box !!!!!
      In my opinion, NOBODY should buy any of these power stations until they learn about them first. Just so they understand the basics of how to use them, and fully understand that these are not toys or novelties. These are serious tools that could do serious damage....
      *Every power station made today does the same thing if they have more than 1 cell, they all balance the cells after reaching 100% (ALL OF THEM)
      Every time you charge them to 100%
      Oupes, bluetti, pecron, eco flow, etc, etc, etc....
      It has been this way for 40+ years with multi-cell batteries for solar power, rc cars, tools, laptops, cars, boats, etc, etc, etc....
      Nothing has really changed except the technology has gotten better and safer and more automatic. and that is the problem. Too many people just buy this stuff and have problems because they do not understand what they just bought or how to use it safely :(
      NOW FOR THE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS :)
      1. We fully 100% balance charge our systems at least 1-2 times every week. The BMS inside is designed to stop charging when it is complete. And the MPPT controllers control the power going in. It does it all for you :)
      *This will ensure that all your cells are balanced and ready to work at full capacity.
      2. The app version is clearly listed in your phone menu under.....
      "SETTINGS" ---> "APPS" ---> "PECRON"
      and it will tell you exactly what version you have installed :)
      *You also have to give the app FULL access to your phone for it to work
      3. TURNING OFF THE SYSTEM.....You simply hold down the DC or AC button (whatever you have on) to turn on and off the machine. same as every other power station on the market. (They all work this way)
      IMPORTANT NOTE: You can not turn off a system that is plugged into the wall outlet, as it is always trying to keep the system charged and topped off ;)
      EXTRA IMPORTANT NOTE: We have never seen any company explain that you should balance the cells of a battery of a power station, since this process is done for you by the system. they never really have to explain this ;)

      @@RamblinBobReviews Bob (or anyone), So when you initially charge the E3600 and it reached 100%, do you continue to charge it until the input wattage is 0? Less than 100w? Less than 200w? Or at which point do I pull the plug and stop the charging?? This was my concern and asked this question in another Ramblin Bob video. Thanks!

    • @RamblinBobReviews
      @RamblinBobReviews  16 дней назад +1

      We have mentioned this in many videos. You want to let it charge every drop it needs to balance the battery cells, You will see the input drop down to just over the power that you are using :)
      You have to remember, This system has screen, UPS, boards, etc, etc....So it will never really reach "0" :)
      P.S. You will see the difference ;)
