    He seems like a very nice man, BUT, this is very harmful for the environment. Because, these plants are from a completely different climate zone and from a different eco system. These plants can become invasive and harm the local ecosystem. It's never a good practice to introduce plants from a completely different climate zone.

      You do know that's complete rubbish!! Do your research into those plants if you know what they are (except the eucalyptus tree)!!

      Gosh, most people would be ripping out their gardens then as plants from every continent are now sold in garden centres. Should we say extend this to French lavender for example? My bumble bees don't seem to mind English or French.

      @@NicolaBrown-wo2bq This does not necessarily apply to all types of plants. But plants like Bamboo are highly invasive.
