Have you considered an afternoon shift with some of your six new staff? Pack WA orders and despatch AM following day. Extend usage of filling units and so on. Afternoon shift possibly 8% increase in rates.
I think you placing your customer service desk is the store is brilliant mate. Proximity to product, yeah, but the exposue to staff and ability to hands on with new starters is a big positive.
True. Direk planning for the management team is beneficial but interaction with staff particularly new persons will be invaluable. Simple stuff like possible public transport requirements in the event the bus stop is a long summer/winter walk. Need to determine pickup times for your transport provider and potential 15 minutes extra travel per day for your drivers.
