someone should make Dota but broken, basically you look back into the patch notes from the entire Dota existence and take whenever a hero or item was its strongest and move them all into one game basically( idk if that makes sense LOL but mades sense in my head)

Fun fact: Every hero in the game has damage variance for their auto-attack.
Example, Troll Warlord at lvl 1 hits for 48 - 56 damage.
Why do they do this? Who knows, it's old Dota 1 jank that's still in the game for some reason.
As part of this mod, I changed all the variance to be the higher number.
For the lvl 1 troll, that's 56 on every hit :)

So CK did a huge chunk of damage, right? (iirc he had like 30 dmg difference between min and max damage)

Also I propose a change for CM ult, keep the spell radius at 1 but increase the AoE of the blasts to 1085 (the max range at which you can be damaged by CM ult normally)
Mod maker here, I changed a setting that disabled uphill miss chanse, and after testing it the miss icon would show up but the damage would be applied.
As for the CM change I originally did exactly what you suggested, but when I got to Kunkka and realized I would have to change the torrent size as well I went back and reverted CM.

The fact that Dota has been sitting on what to me is actually an incredible outline of the lore for like 15 years or something and then decided to not delve into that any further with the anime is upsetting. There's literally so much you could do with the lore of each hero and no ones picked it up.

Well PA cast is longer than sniper attack range and combine it with 2rapier, daedalus, basher, and ghost scepter would be 1 hit cast

iirc pl is perma banned just as ricky and techies as they are either unfun or tend to break the game and tend to cause lags

I agree pretty much on everything you said about Arcane. I knew that Jinx is a LoL character, I've tried the game years ago but really didn't ever want to play more and don't care about the game, and after watching it I was wondering about which characters are from the game. And I was surprised to see the answer was pretty much all of them. But like, Professor Heidegger was a believable character that I actually thought wouldn't be a game character. I just thought "oh, the didn't want to add Teemo so they made a character that's the same kinda being but just a professor in the Academy"
And I absolutely love how they've portrayed Vi. Like. She's strong, hella strong but you can actually see that she's done the work. I believe that the strong female characters kick ass 'cause they're not just pretty princesses who win fights because plot reasons but through their own merits.

You can buy hex to soft counter bkb. you can't bkb an instant disable. Similar thing with halberd, though that won't let you kill them. obviously if they get the jump on you they'll still win but that's what ghost scepter, eul's, force staff, aeon disk are for

He used to most boring heroes for the most insane passive gamemode. Honestly CM and axe on this mode is such a bore, he could've gone PA, Tide, CK, LC or any of the fun heroes but no he used CM which can only kill one enemy in 1 radius. Fair play

The reason I wasn't able to appreciate the Dota anime much was because I was trying to find too many associations with the characters and the game. For me it would've felt more canon if the characters actually used their full abilities which they have in the game. Like Mirana could've used invisible or Invoker could've used at least single suntrike. Other than that I was just grateful that Valve even cared enough to have an anime in the first place.
In terms of what they had to work with DotA Dragons Blood was a work of art. The DotA lore is essentially a massive mess.
Arcane considering the source material is meh, because Rito’s lore team has been writing this for essentially 6 years to set up this situation.

The point is that arcane isn’t that great considering the amount of time that has been put into the source material. And just how good it is, if that makes sense.
Actually "true" rng is remarkably close to rolling dice and going "between 1 and 5 it hits".
Cryptographic randomness in a computer is just random numbers (normalised to 0-1 in many cases) and if you use it as RNG you're basically rolling dice.
Okay but what about the opposite where every proc chance is like 1 percent but to compensate they are absurdly op like axe spin basically one shooting.

League has always done well with their ministories and character animation in the character promovids. They put alot more effort into their public works.
I enjoy hating on Valve as much as anyone, but to be fair they always had a lot of games beyond Dota, while Riot only started releasing other stuff like a year ago after being just the LoL company for 10 years

I did watch 2 eps of Arcane and stopped. Idk why. Maybe the drama or political is not my favourite theme. Or maybe I have a weird taste coz I also don't like GoT and Star Wars lmao.

Different taste and the undying hate dota2 players have for LoL probably. If you appreciate good character building and world building, Arcane was way better, even the animation was worlds apart. Only thing dragonblood had going was “ah shit, dota finally giving some fanservice after years of 0 fanservice besides qop outfit” for me. Worst part is, dota2 lore has huge potential, but volvo does nothing to it. 0 investment.
Lorewise, dota2 has potential to be better than LoL’s. But nah, they just dont care in things that doesnt give them $$$

If you say fanservice there is no fanservice at all in Arcane, at least in 2 eps that I watched. And I think fanservice is not needed to make a movie fun to watch.
Saying 0 investment to dota lore is an exaggeration. Ask any CS and TF players which valve game that valve is very invested lmao.

I think 1 way to look at rng is it just 50/50. Right? Cause think about it. It doesn't matter how high or how low the percentage for it to happen or hit. It is either it happen or not. So basically 50/50
