- Episode 25 is dedicated to Shohei Decoy Ohtani, yes we decided that is his middle name. After praising the historic feat of Shohei's incredible game going 6-6 and starting the 50/50 club, we are running out of adjectives to describe how amazing he is and how lucky we are that he's on our team!
Besides going on and on about Shohei, Melissa tells us about the Women in Sports Event she attended at Dodger Stadium. For her second year in a row, the event exceeded expectations and she brought lots of Dodgers goodies and stories from the event.
The girls talk about more starting pitchers being out for the season and all of their nerves heading into the postseason. With Adam's usual Dodger hate, the girls try to remain as optimistic as possible as somehow their billion dollar Dodgers are becoming the underdogs. Maybe Melissa's lucky Dodger's candle will help!

Ohtani is the goat 🐐🐐🐐
His the GOAT IN MLB his unbelievable wow! Remember Japanese are very polite and respectful. Went to Tokyo and visit my daughter all mostly her friends are Japanese. They were polite and shy type . To me I feel very safe living in Japan very clean people are nice very low crimes.
From Japan to the dear Americans. Thank you🎉 However, there are currently 1 million Chinese people hiding in Japan who disappear after entering the country and their visas expire. Their crimes are continuing every day. Please be especially careful of Kabukicho in Tokyo. We welcome people from all countries except China and North Korea, which are the enemies of humanity.
Agree. I have traveled to Japan one time. Wonderful people, clean, and safe. Love it there
I feel lucky to be living during the Shohei Era.
at least once an episode we acknowledge how lucky we are, too!
Shohei doesn't mind getting attention, in fact, he shines under attention
He wanted to get over it becau6 diddn't want to disturb the game and cause inconvenience to other players That's the Japanese culture
Go Shotime Shohei! Go Dodgers!! 🔥
Next up is the Triple Crown!! Ohtani is just 5 points away from being first place in batting average!
crossing our fingers and toes he does it!!
55/60 club
no doubt!
GOATani.
that's right
Love the energy
thank you! how could you not be hyped when Shohei is on your team?!
Next year, I want 200 strikeouts and 200 hits.😀😀
He should have gotten 60 SB had it not been for that erroneous call in Game 2 in Colorado.
Please say Shohei's name in a Southern accent.
🤣
Hh
I didn't think Asians were big and tall enough to play basketball, football, and baseball until another 40 years. OHTANI not just made it into the pro league but becoming one of the best baseball players is incredible.
Asian players have been in basketball and baseball for decades, what the hell?
Weird comment haha. i assume you don't follow sports very closely. MLB specifically has had so many top level Asian players. Baseball is hugely popular in Japan, S. Korea, and Taiwan. Japan didn't win the World Baseball Classic for no reason lol
@@GrantGuns You mean like Ichiro or Nomo? There have been a lot of Asian players, right now even Steven Kwan and Christian Yellich is part Asian.
@@demonsxx HAVE u ever seen a 5'3 B- person WHO is good at ping pong? That is as rare as seeing an Asian person over 6 foot playing football or basketball. 20 years ago Asian's average height was 5'3.
@@asianconnection7701 Dude shut up, you must know shit about baseball or basketball. Ever heard of Yao Ming or Ichiro? Why you trying to erase all their contributions to their sports?
Wow Chris Taylor getting on base off a position player / pitcher. I think that last homer was a bit unnecessary Doc should've sat Shohei the rest of the game you're leading 17 - 3 did you really need to kick them while they're down esp since Skip Schumacher elected to give Shohei his moment and pitch to him instead of walking him, blasting it off a position player just didn't seem right. You don't need to humiliate your opponents like that.
Most people at the stadium seemed to enjoy it
i don't think any home run is unnecessary! Everyone was in awe of Shohei that day - fans, players, managers!
