Wish people would do their research on how to clean filters before they leave negative comments, its clear you have better knowledge then them idiots. Your doing a good job keep it up
Thank you for your comment. It seems everyone likes to have a say these days. People like to have a say even when they know nothing about it. Thank you my friend.
I always wondered what this was in my boiler. I was thinking about getting an Adey MagnaClean. The reason I didn’t realise I had this in my boiler was it wasn’t branded clearly and installed at an awkward angle. Now that I have seen this video, I know what it is. This will save me money phoning someone out to install a magnaclean, and should be able to do this quite easily my self.
It seems people are confusing this (updated) model of the Sentinel Eliminator which doesn't have magents with the older Eliminator Quadra Cyclone which does have the magnets. See this video for the older model. ruclips.net/video/O51cxuaIAvs/видео.html&ab_channel=AndyTurner
Your just clown Gas Engineer for 20 years? You should undo the filter to clean the magnet it doesn't matter if the water clean or not because all the sludge and metal bits are holding by magnet and needs to be cleaned What a total joke
As this Sentinel video say. compleat stripping is not needed. ruclips.net/video/MQxBzBUIgcs/видео.html This is not a Magna Clean. As I understand it, there are NO magnets in this filter!!!!!!

That's great. Thanks for explaining.
Is it not necessary to remove the magnet and wash off the sludge/deposits?
If it is required, how frequent should it be done?
Thank you
Where’s the two magnets that you’re supposed to remove from that sentinel before flushing it thru?
There are no magnet in this model see the Sentinel video.
