"nothing says 'I love you' like giving your relatives a gift that they don't know what to do with" Classic. :) Thanks for the inspiration David. I hope you have a great holiday season.
"If you want my book, go to your local bookstore or woodcraft store" Having followed you for years, I'm so extremely happy and proud that you're able to say that. It must be exciting to have your book out IN ACTUAL STORES!
I didn't know that I needed to see this today but I definitely did. My family like to do Christmas gift giving for $5 or less per person and that can be really tough. Last year I took Lowe's 5 gallon paint stirs and drew everyone's car in a matchbox car size, cut them out, bend sanded them down to shape and painted them up to match so they have keychains of their own cars. This year I picked up yard sticks from ACE Hardware and collected popsicle sticks that I have eaten straight off of every individual one and am hoping I can whip together some quick, easy and dirty personalized coasters for them all.
I love the Chizzy poster ❤️. I’ve known Chad Mize all my life, his funny filled art is at once airy, crisp, and sophisticated (at lest in my mind’s eye); you can spend hours searching through his murals. A great guy, a reliable friend, and a blessing to the whole city of St Pete.
I made some of the wine holders and I took some time once I bought the plans to make a template out of plywood so I don't have to worry about printing the template every time. Works out well and I made a set of the holders with some matching cheese boards for fairly cheap.

Def remember the Drunken Woodworker. First video I saw was the beer tote. RIP 🤣
I gotta say that I love what you said at the end. I'm making things for family this year (everyone gets something made from a whiskey barrel stave) and it felt like kind of a cop out. Nice to have that bit of reassurance. Cheers!
Nothing says I love you like giving your relatives a gift they don't know what to do with 😂😜👍 but it's hand made so they will love it and it will make for a good story later when you tell people what the look on their face was.
I'm making a star in my carpentry class sometime next week. Looks like we're getting new decorations (and hopefully i don't cut myself like i did last time i made decorations)
Thanks for the great ideas! I always enjoy your videos and the way you present your work. At 5:50, you are dressed the same as the lamp you are describing.
I remember the pencil making video, but I am just again finding your channel and am looking forward to watching all content. Android needs to upload a Christmas Bush emoji 🎄.
Best make your own woodworking Christmas gifts video, I've seen. Awesome, inspiring, entertaining, instructional, artistic, comical, festive, comical, economical, ingenious, practical, beautifying, and historical. (Well, maybe not so historical.) Thanks!
Love the wine glass holder, think I may give that a bash for a secret Santa gift. Thanks for the inspiration and happy holidays everyone. Love to all x
I love the festive videos, they're always a treat. Speaking of throwbacks to earlier days, what happened to that awesome Christmas remix you put together that sampled Jingle Bells and Rudolph? That thing slapped!
Hey, David. Thanks for another Christmas gifts video. I have all of your books and I've made a cutting board, the tissue box holder, the beer tote (In my house, it's called a 'Soft Drink' Tote) and a utensil holder. They have all been hits at Christmas and I enjoyed making each one of them. Thanks again for the video.
Totally remember the DWW, but in my honest opinion I like what you have done and where you're going under the "make something" brand!.. I have the bandsaw and cutting board books, and love 'em both! I will have to revisit your vids on pictures frames as I have never made one... but apparently it's something I have to do... Wishing you all the best, Happy Holidays
Merry Christmas! very cool video packed with a lot of ideas. I'll make a piano stand as my Christmas gift this year. the stock X-stand which came with my piano is getting in the way for my knees. and it makes me wonder if I'm the only one having this issue. anyway, I agree that making something for others makes it a lot more special. please explain this concept to my daughter who will get a cutting board this year instead of a new OLED screen 12 inch tablet [just kidding].
Love these ideas, RUclips has me wanting a large garage to fill with woodworking machines Also why don’t you have a little whiskey with your glass of ice
Rumor has it the Drunken Woodworker still haunts this very shop. And if you’re very quiet you can hear the wind carry the voice of his tortured spirit plugging high quality branded merchandise

Hey David, I definitely remember The Drunken Woodworker in fact I still wear my T-shirt all the time. Thanks for another great video.
You totally need to do a throwback video of the Drunken Woodworker!
Ahh yes, Drunken Woodworker, miss him dearly. This one's for you, Cheers.
This is one of the most practical videos I’ve ever seen. I love watching it and I don’t even do woodworking! It’s just cool!
Beautiful job David! Make On Brother
I've been following since the drunken woodworker days in the old shop with the cool painting on the band saw! Good times.
I love that you acknowledge the half Christmas tree. Great video as always.
Love the UHF reference! No one I know has seen it it’s a classic.

Man, I liked the video already before watching because of that perfect thumbnail! The video was great too as always. Thanks David!

I just got finished making a Kleenex box. It turned out really good. That’s funny you said that on here.
Spatula city is my favorite store, I think it's fun
All these projects look so cool. Makes me really want to get into woodworking.
Thanks for the great ideas! I always enjoy your videos and the way you present your work. At 5:50, you are dressed the same as the lamp you are describing.

Picked up your cutting board book at Woodcraft the other day. Wonderful! Can't wait to attempt an end grain cutting board.

Your Books are a very good investment!!! Love all of them!
I love the festive videos, they're always a treat. Speaking of throwbacks to earlier days, what happened to that awesome Christmas remix you put together that sampled Jingle Bells and Rudolph? That thing slapped!
Beautiful lamp. You probably should have worn a contrasting sweatsuit to help the lamp colors pop.
ha! yes!
Great Lakes Brewing Co! Nice! Midwest beers can be so delicious.
I mean, beer anywhere can be so delicious but it's nice to see craft beer brands I'm aware of.
You can always tell someone's from Toledo when they have "The Christmas Weed" in their house.
Ha!
Bring back the Drunkin Woodworker!
Marco’s! Hell yeah!
🍕
Thanks David, you gave me a lot of ideas!
GLB FTW!

I got that glass locally at a place called Hobby Lobby.
