What do you think about the new Season 3 settings?

Definitely a fan of removing crowns from the pool. Progressive hints are neat too. Could take or leave the other changes.

I often like to play along trying to follow the logic, and I have to admit...I couldn't make heads or tails of the "Factory Shops to Key 8 and Chunky Phase" hint. I did notice that you were focusing solely on Pineapple as the hinted item when it actually could've been any of Pineapple/Peanuts/Oranges--understandable given that Pineapple's location was also hinted Way of the Hoard, but DK was in the Isles Pineapple Cage so that's not necessarily the answer; if anything, Pineapple being hinted with a Way of the Hoard makes it slightly _less_ likely that it's the item being hinted.
And for a brief moment, I thought I'd figured it out. Even though you 100% _don't_ actually need them to clear it, I'm pretty sure that Tiny Hive is logically considered an Oranges check. The three things that seemed to be path to Gone were Mini, Coconut (near the end replaced by Blast which Coconut had led to), and whichever of Pineapple/Oranges/Peanuts was being hinted. Oranges+Mini had led to Trombone, and of course, Blast had led to Diving. When you, following the train of logic that Pineapple had to be the hinted item, had gone to DK's 5-Door Ship thinking that Bongos+Diving would satisfy everything, I was expecting that the micro-hint would say *Lanky* in Galleon. Trombone+Diving would've satisfied everything, I think.
Though there was potential for something even ruder, and it's not something that any amount of looking at your pause screen would've clued you in on. After I'd updated the list to "Peanuts/Pineapple/Oranges/Trombone/Bongos", but before remembering that Trombone in particular would eliminate the need for any further involvement from Mini, Diving+Mini dovetailed in another way. _The bonus barrel that held Monkeyport was a Diving minigame._ Luckily, the list of Monkeyport checks is extremely short and absolutely none of those moves share a check with it, so it really wasn't an issue...except for the fact that there doesn't seem to be any way that any of those moves were actually used.
You know what? I think you should submit a bug report to Lrauq. For a good deal of Season 3 testing, they were going with Shipyard closed off to start, which would've made all of Shipyard and Treasure Room locked by Peanuts. Which would solve the hint if not for the fact that Shipyard _wasn't_ closed off.

@@CyberchaoX Thanks for the in-depth analysis. After all that, I realized it was just peanuts for shipyard access lol. Shipyard was indeed closed this seed and required peanuts to get in. So peanuts led to treasure room access for gone.

The Luigi's Mansion theme remix for Mad Jack works shockingly well.
