man fast burst BR and AR was certainly a time
CLG/OG dominated early H5 but Splyce took over in the final years. They were a force. It’s a shame Shotzzy left Halo he was probably neck and neck with Frosty as the best H5 players

That's for sure. Even with those chokes they would go 3-1, 4-1, etc. When you look at the tourneys, they were absolutely dominant only over the first year. That's why a lot of people meme with CLG>>>.
Also, the removal of autos, removal of ground pound and spartan charge, and the change of certain weapon placements kinda like reset the the meta a bit, allowing other teams to catch up. The splyce with shooter and bubu was so good that it makes me wonder why they changed.
