Wait hear me out- 80/90’s pack that adds bands as a career or gameplay aspect. Like I feel like that would go hand in hand since those eras were known for their bands like nirvana and Queen

If its 80s 90s theme im going to cry because ive literally been planning a save file for 3yrs based on the 80s90s! IVE BEEN WANTING A NOSTALGIC PACK or something 90s 2000s 80s vibe. I had a feeling from the new home screen

The joke is that the teams probably already fully made all of this content and are using the surveys to determine the timeline of releasing it

The idea of malls is interesting, but knowing how the game is coded, I wouldn't expect them to work the way some are thinking they will. It'd probably be a select few or even one store at a time that's loaded in, and you'd go through a loading screen every single time when your Sims enter one. That aside, the event is either hinting at a throwback EP or something to do with Bella Goth because there is a LOT of alien UFO easter eggs in all 3 kits that we just got.
I hope they update aliens. There needs to be more that you can do with them. They also need to update plant Sims and make them an official pickable occult and for the love of plumbobs bring back spawning a plant baby ridiculously fast and easy from the ground.
Even then that's giving EA too much credit, more than likely it'll just be a bunch of stalls like how you go wedding dress shopping from the stall.
It would be cool to have a pack on having airports and banks!

on the survey they talked about a nostalgia pack centering malls. lifeguards, hoses, and line phones were mentioned.
the season is called motherlode. motherload is the cheat in the game used for money. money is for spending. that points once again to shopping malls.

I want the 80's/90's themed pack, but it probably would already be in development before the survey dropped like the comment said. Another theme is a time travel ep as the rewards event is called blast from the past, and we got some into the future type rewards.
Ohh, I would love the throwback pack. They could definitely still add the burglars with that. Would love malls too 💜 I'm so excited because I feel like whatever is coming next, I'm going to actually be excited for. Life and death was a good pack but nothing I was actually excited for, it's just good for story telling
Malls could meana refresh of the retailsystem, Magnolia Promenade... maybe business in general. They can add a bankingsystem in it with a robber to have an office in the mall as well. And a mall can mean that you can have more commercial/community zones in one lot, like what for Rent did with housinglots. I like the Mall Idea and a 80/90 vibes goes well with it.
They defentely worked on a timetravelers pack. I always puzzeled the way we talk to the horse. In dutch you can talk with the horse about timetravelling. This pack also came with a mention to other sims about, talking about the change in the neighboorhood

Ooh, yeah a nostalgia pack would make sense too because there's the alarm clock and the blow up couch and chair too, and the blow up furniture was in the previous sims games as well as working alarm clocks.
I feel like the nostalgia stuff is only for the anniversary, the motherlode theme leans more towards glamour/money/fame in my mind!
Did nobody else see the new reward lamp things ?! They literally added a bunch of new rewards that match up to stuff we have but one of them was literally called TIME TRAVELLER and talks about going to the future and back. That’s our next pack
I am playing sims freeplay to not only wait until I get a console to play sims 4 again, but also to waste time, I notice that in it, they added a few more things in there, for one, eyelashes, the shading and all but also notice pre-teens in it. which wasn't there the last time I play it, which was 2015. so I'm guessing we would get pre-teens in sims 4 since most of almost all the sims games have it but sims 4
Nah Preteens were added in Freeplay in 2019 however I did see interactions from Freeplay in the Sims 4 like the wedding dance. So yeah could be.

they were already saying they were working on a way for the for rent to be used to make multilots in the future so I wouldn't be surprised by a mall pack.

It’s going to be something with Bella goth. We have had so much point to her, we even get her original dress in the blast from the past event. That plus all the alien stuff… it’s gotta be pointing to that. No idea how or what they are planning, but it’s related to Bella goth for sure.
i would love if we got some more lore and gameplay for bella
One thing I think would be cool for them to do is either do one giant eras pack, or smaller packs based off of different eras. Maybe from the 50s up to the early 2000s? We could have cas items, recipes, build/buy, collectibles. Like for the 60s, we could collect records or something. I think 80s and 90s are probably going to be one of them, or maybe they'll do a stranger things collab, like they did with star wars.
I think that if they do a decades pack the aspiration could be like being able to steal from the mall or something.
Maybe it's both and 80s mall/thief pack. I don't know how either of those would be enough for an expansion but together it would work. You need motherlodes to shop, and the burgulars steal your new stuff and money

What if the 80s/90s mall nostalgia expansion pack is actually the summer camp pack mentioned in the survey. With the new added life stage preteens. If you think about it summer camps are pretty nostalgic. And what preteen doesn't love the mall?

the nostalgia is about having ancient games back: Sims 1/2 and a new bundle for Mysims.
My guess is both the criminal world and the 80s/90s mall pack will be on the roadmap, maybe one an expansion and maybe bring back gamepacks for the other, both were in the survey and were popular options. And I think as far as the survey I'm guessing they are working on several and that's just testing hype levels, some ideas on there could have been 80% done.
If we get a band pack the first thing I’m doing is make a 1980s hair band! 😂
The items are a mix of items from the sims 1 & 2. Livin large had the cake with dancers that came out of it (they mimicked this in behind the Sims) as well as the alarm clock, and bubble furniture. The milk carton is a nod to the Sims 2. I’m hoping this is hinting towards the ability to play all Sims games, as well as maybe a decades themed pack.

i don't even know if you'd even know how to fix my problem, but when I get on the sims, my UI is all messed up and glitched. then if i go into CAS or build mode and re-enter the game, all of my UI disappears and then my game pauses. There is no way to stop it so I have to reset my computer and it doesn't save. I didn't see a recent videos of yours explaining glitches and stuff, so I thought I'd try. It's okay if you don't know what's going on, I just thought I'd ask! :D
I think they were trying to decide what order to release these packs. I think they pre made packs for "The Sims 5" and when they pulled it, they had things to use but no idea on when to release them. Just a thought. 😊
I hope it won't be 80-90 nostalgia pack... From all the packs ideas from survey, this is the one that I would least anticipate and wait for. I would like the most royalty pack, but crime pack also is interesting. And I think the crime pack is the most hinted. The burglar on milk, the stiky-fingers trait, and also Bella's and Lotario's kits (the hidden lair theme as superhero or supervillain theme?)
What if they are hinting all the upcoming expansion packs Crime,80s & 90s, Royalty and Cyberpunk

two out of the three of the event were not specific to an ex. pack.....for me with the googly eyes and the lobsters googly eyes...maybe a Mermaid refresh, it made me think of under the sea, the little mermaid.
They have a high school in University pack. What if they made a preschool in middle school pack And daycare. As a child you get to Discover new things, Have wild imaginations. Stuff like that I'm I'm trying to get your Guys opinions , because i'm thinking about pitching it

I'm a bit tired of everything being 90s/00s-themed. I grew up during that time, and I'm over it lol. I wouldn't want an entire pack centered around a decade. I want something new and fresh.

about the refreshes, I think they tried it on one of the least sold packs which was a spa day. It was very specific and I guess not many people had it.
(I bought it as one of my first packs because I love self-care and I do yoga daily so it was perfect for my Sim self. But I guess it was not needed or something most people wanted.)
With a refresh, I think they were just hoping that more people would buy it especially by adding nails which is something pretty common and what many wanted I would say. But I guess in the end just not enough people, but a date for them to have seen days "experiment" as successful enough to continue with other packs. But it wouldn't make sense for them to do on a popular pack anyway, since many people already have it so they wouldn't get as many sales... thta's what i think so idk.
Maybe if people really pressed for them to do one on a pack that not people own they might reconsider it instead of asking for a refresh on a pack many already have,
