Well to be fair Ollie went deep in the pods with Sharlotte it was between her & Demi, NOT Cat. Production just chose to exclude that entire part 😢 He came to the reunion with Sharlotte and those podcasters who attended said chemistry was obvious. Also, I remember while I was watching the show that Ollie locked it off with Cat relatively early, saying that Demi was the one for him, but somehow Freddy and Cat got engaged long before Demi and Ollie did, and I couldn’t fathom why he was taking so long with the proposal, if he only had those two women in the mix and already decided where his heart was. Now it makes sense there was a third woman that he was still actively dating aside from Cat to justify the delay.

Demi is a sweetheart and I think she made the right choice for her but a partner who lacks confidence and needs reassurance often is draining to deal with. Unpopular opinion but Demi doesn't hit me like the sweet person she is portraying. I think during the show she was so insecure and being in reality TV is not s good idea when your self esteem and self love is not the best. Love Demi but she still needs to work on herself. She goes into herself but expects everyone to know what she needs in the moment. Nicole is the opposite, shes open and articulates her feelings well and you need that for healthy connections.
I have a hot take. I think Demi herself performs better at friendship than at romance. Romance is subtle and exudes sexual confidence and its how you talk and walk and carry yourself as a woman especially in moments of self doubt or external threat and I feel like that's yhe spark she lacked. Demi is an attractive girl but because she doesn't have certainty of this, it also made Ollie doubtful of her as a romantic partner.
When Demi said no at the alter I literally cried tears of joy, seeing a woman choose herself should be commonplace on tv. It’s obvious she has to work on her confidence, I believe it will come in due time 😊

Great interview! At first I did think Demi was being petty and bitter, but that is just her navigating her reality. She was in a relationship with someone who was not genuine with her and even though she said no at the alter, not getting any sort of honesty from Ollie about what he truly felt for her can make closure difficult and keep those insecurities/intrusive thoughts bubbling. I can understand Demi wanting to disassociate with the LIB world/cast because those who are happily in relationships (like Jasmine, Ollie/Sharlotte) cannot relate to Demi in this moment and vice-versa Demi is not in this state of love/positivity because she is still trying to find love and healing, not to mention its awkward enough being around an ex, but then his new gf too. Plus being around the cast seems like being in high school again, and those who are in relationships or similar situations find it easier to form a clique and mingle together because they can relate, so I can imagine them isolating Demi as well. to be fair in his interview, he said he typically dates women that look like Demi, Sharlette and the other black woman on the cast. Basically various shades, thick and slim. But not YT women. Most people don't have just ONE exclusive type. It is VERY possible to be attracted to someone that looks like Demi AND Sharlette. They're both pretty, one is just more slim. Not sure why this is hard to understand. Also, someone can be PHYSICALLY attracted to you, and care for you but for various reasons not have much chemistry overall. I felt that the way Ollie handled the situation after she left him at the alter was a sign of how cool and collected and mature he could be and maybe this was partly due to her rubbing off on him. @31:45 On Jessie Woo's YT channel, Ollie said that he didn't ghost Demi after the honeymoon. So, I wish this would get sorted out. He said he communicated with her all the time, and that he felt like she lied on him about that.
Jessie woo’s video today reinforced the not communicating thing so I’m confused. She was saying how can he expect the spark to be kept alive if they don’t communicate.
Think it comes down to expectations. Did he match her expectations of what was classified as communication. She said a text and one call if I heard right. He didn’t meet her expectations of meeting her love language. He was low energy for her possibly and reading it as he is not into me as much as I am into him. That is how she felt. They made the right call not to marry with these concerns. They were not each others person and I don’t think Ollie is evil or bad.
This is a good interview and I understand her very well. I am like that too, if I feel like I am too much for one person and you exclude me, then I protect myself and leave the group. It is not always necessary, sometimes it is not our fault, but the other person that treats us in a certain way. I thought it was nice of Charlotte that she told Demi nicely and maybe Demi withdrew because her love for Ollie was too much and she did not want to be confronted with Him and Charlotte. But Demi is an overthinker. I think that some things are not even as she thinks and sees. I do not think she is right that she withdrew from the group by saying. her real friends are at home. she has built a bond with these people and she could just keep that bond nicely and calmly. She keeps saying. her real life, but at the time that she was going to do the reality show, that was her real life. because if she had married Ollie, that would have been her real life. She has unfollowed almost half of the people on IG. Always maintain relationships well in life, how you deal with them is the other question. Somewhere you would think that she acts like this because she still has feelings, because a person who has no feelings anymore and doesn't care, doesn't say much, but shows it. you shouldn't do things like that. Who cares if I follow someone on social media. I really don't have to unfollow you. She even follows people she hasn't even had conversations with in life. I wish her the best in life, but somewhere I think she is sabotaging her own life somewhere too.
I think you handle yourself well and with class. Even this quiet time with Jasmine and Ollie. Your mannerism spoke volumes. Don’t regret when you didn’t speak. I sometimes wish I could diffuse situations instead of speaking out all the time.

Also, on Jessie Woo's YT channel, Ollie said that someone else told him that he was too attractive for Demi. Woo suggested it was Jasmine...then Ollie smiled and said he wouldn't say. Frankly, this comment on Woo's show made Ollie look worse in my opinion because it reminded me of Sam claiming Nicole was trying to sleep with him, because both of these moves were about these two men protecting their ego and not the woman.

I absolutely LOVED that Wil called Demi out for letting what she watched, and what other people have said, bend what she actually experienced. There is still a lot of doubt there, but we're all works in progress. I also appreciate her owning her part in things. Yes, everything can be Ollie's fault, but that wasn't reality. Too often, people want to put everything wrong off on their partner to not accept they play the main role in their own lives. The biggest red flag is no self-awareness. She's awesome, and I wish her and Ollie the best.

Also, I remember while I was watching the show that Ollie locked it off with Cat relatively early, saying that Demi was the one for him, but somehow Freddy and Cat got engaged long before Demi and Ollie did, and I couldn’t fathom why he was taking so long with the proposal, if he only had those two women in the mix and already decided where his heart was. I have a hot take. I think Demi herself performs better at friendship than at romance. Romance is subtle and exudes sexual confidence and its how you talk and walk and carry yourself as a woman especially in moments of self doubt or external threat and I feel like that's yhe spark she lacked. Great interview! At first I did think Demi was being petty and bitter, but that is just her navigating her reality. She was in a relationship with someone who was not genuine with her and even though she said no at the alter, not getting any sort of honesty from Ollie about what he truly felt for her can make closure difficult and keep those insecurities/intrusive thoughts bubbling. I can understand Demi wanting to disassociate with the LIB world/cast because those who are happily in relationships (like Jasmine, Ollie/Sharlotte) cannot relate to Demi in this moment and vice-versa Demi is not in this state of love/positivity because she is still trying to find love and healing, not to mention its awkward enough being around an ex, but then his new gf too. Plus being around the cast seems like being in high school again, and those who are in relationships or similar situations find it easier to form a clique and mingle together because they can relate, so I can imagine them isolating Demi as well. Best wishes for Demi in her healing, growth, and hope she finds a man that deserves her and treats her with honesty and respect!

I’m not sure how ppl defending jasmine in the rooftop. She was totally justified starting the convo on behalf of her girl Demi. But Ollie answered her several times with positive answers but she kept going and going. It seemed like she cared more about jasmine showing she’s a ride or die so there was nothing Ollie could have said to satisfy her.
No actually my friend this to a guy who was acting like he was interested in me in a real way talking Marriage and kids so soon and she literally asked him so when are u gettin engaged. I was embarrassed and blamed her fir ruining our romance guess what. Its been 11 years Im happily married and that guy has got two women pregnant and ran. Still not committed. So these things are a blessing in disguise.

But not YT women. Most people don't have just ONE exclusive type. It is VERY possible to be attracted to someone that looks like Demi AND Sharlette. They're both pretty, one is just more slim.
Not sure why this is hard to understand. Also, someone can be PHYSICALLY attracted to you, and care for you but for various reasons not have much chemistry overall. Like if you're closed off or come off like a homie, which I think Demi may have at times

I watched Jasmine on this podcast and she mentioned that Demi was confiding in her in Korfu that’s why she was grilling Ollie about their relationship… a lot of things aren’t making sense on Demi’s end, she seems to the one that isn’t letting go of her situation on love is blind, in my perspective, and playing the victim. Which is disappointing because I was truly rooting for her and Ollie.
I agree with this wholeheartedly! I really liked Demi at first but with this interview it’s not making any sense on her end & there were quite a few contradictions she would say. Overall, she just seemed bitter & not that kind. I wish her the best in her healing because she seems like she needs it.

Why do I feel sad after this interview; I feel confused. Was Ollie all in or not, he was willing to get married it seems?? How is Jasmine now close to Charlotte, that must be awkward. I dunno if the whole thing was a self fulfilling prophecy by Demi or not. She was visibly insecure and unfortunately that kills chemistry. Ollie seems to have a lot more chemistry with Charlotte seeing pics of them.

my opinion: Demi was the problem as well. She's the girl who give her all to someone until she has nothing left. Then expect others to show up the same exact way. Which is very unhealthy. She was walking around with a stank face but expect someone to read her mind when they only personally been around her for less than 24 hours. Jasmine was out of line. I can't believe that was ok. But him talking to Bobby wasn't. Girl come on. I have to say she put alot of expectations on someone when she barely had any confidence in herself. She treated this as her healing retreat and not a marriage. Yes Ollie wasn’t the one but she also fell short even_though she believe she gave it her all. She wasn’t ready for marriage either.
I agree, she was very closed off. She even admitted this. It’s hard to truly get to know someone when they are like this. Men with avoidant personalities will give you your space if you seem to be annoyed or uncomfortable. Idk Ollie but it seems from what I’ve seen and heard, he has an avoidant personality and doesn’t do well under pressure. Demi was wanting this reassurance from him but also being cold and distant because she was feeling insecure. Like you said, was he supposed to read her mind? I also know in an interview Jessie Woo did with Ollie, he said she had asked that they don’t do a lot of PDA on camera because her dad will be watching, and yet she’s on here saying she wanted more PDA 🤔 I just feel like Demi got the better edit than him.. but I agree both parties are responsible. They just weren’t meant for each other, so the outcome made sense.

@31:45 On Jessie Woo's YT channel, Ollie said that he didn't ghost Demi after the honeymoon. So, I wish this would get sorted out. He said he communicated with her all the time, and that he felt like she lied on him about that.

Jessie woo’s video today reinforced the not communicating thing so I’m confused. She was saying how can he expect the spark to be kept alive if they don’t communicate.
Think it comes down to expectations. Did he match her expectations of what was classified as communication. She said a text and one call if I heard right. He didn’t meet her expectations of meeting her love language. He was low energy for her possibly and reading it as he is not into me as much as I am into him. That is how she felt. They made the right call not to marry with these concerns. They were not each others person and I don’t think Ollie is evil or bad.

This is a good interview and I understand her very well. I am like that too, if I feel like I am too much for one person and you exclude me, then I protect myself and leave the group. It is not always necessary, sometimes it is not our fault, but the other person that treats us in a certain way. I thought it was nice of Charlotte that she told Demi nicely and maybe Demi withdrew because her love for Ollie was too much and she did not want to be confronted with Him and Charlotte. But Demi is an overthinker. I think that some things are not even as she thinks and sees. I do not think she is right that she withdrew from the group by saying. her real friends are at home. she has built a bond with these people and she could just keep that bond nicely and calmly. She keeps saying. her real life, but at the time that she was going to do the reality show, that was her real life. because if she had married Ollie, that would have been her real life. She has unfollowed almost half of the people on IG. Always maintain relationships well in life, how you deal with them is the other question. Somewhere you would think that she acts like this because she still has feelings, because a person who has no feelings anymore and doesn't care, doesn't say much, but shows it. you shouldn't do things like that. Who cares if I follow someone on social media. I really don't have to unfollow you. She even follows people she hasn't even had conversations with in life. I wish her the best in life, but somewhere I think she is sabotaging her own life somewhere too.

Also, on Jessie Woo's YT channel, Ollie said that someone else told him that he was too attractive for Demi. Woo suggested it was Jasmine...then Ollie smiled and said he wouldn't say. Frankly, this comment on Woo's show made Ollie look worse in my opinion because it reminded me of Sam claiming Nicole was trying to sleep with him, because both of these moves were about these two men protecting their ego and not the woman.

I absolutely LOVED that Wil called Demi out for letting what she watched, and what other people have said, bend what she actually experienced. There is still a lot of doubt there, but we're all works in progress. I also appreciate her owning her part in things. Yes, everything can be Ollie's fault, but that wasn't reality. Too often, people want to put everything wrong off on their partner to not accept they play the main role in their own lives. The biggest red flag is no self-awareness. She's awesome, and I wish her and Ollie the best.
