This is something that every school should teach. Being able to tell news from opinion pieces or politicians talking is a vital skill for every human being.
Glad there’s a class tailored to target all the bs in the news nowadays.
This is amazing! I love it. I wish all schools taught these classes. It's needed more and more.
The issue is when a person in power calls something fake, is it fake or is it not what the person in power wants us to think.
Skepticism is the opposite of both faith and of being a team player.
To be a team player you must agree with the group leader. To have faith you must agree with the instituiton's ideology.
To be an individual thinker, skeptical, is to be hated by those who wish to rule without opposition.
The person in power is just standing up for all the people who were told to sit down and shut up for eight years, or risk being called a racist. I kind of like a guy who stands up to bullies.

The cure to eliminate fake news is that people stop reading 140-character tweets and start reading 600-page books.
