Thanks for coming along to our show, don’t forget to come to our bigger show on the 9th June the All Japanese Day. Where everything Japanese will be there. Great work btw. 👍
The show is the mechanical equivalent of the original top gear. Always entertaining with a few laughs. Fantastic hosts, and makes me feel good about life when I watch it. To Al and Woody, I salute you. Oxoxoxox. No homo
Also live in NZ, owned an ST202, 3S-GE and loved it. Such a good car even if it was just the FWD model. I sold it to buy a DC2 integra Type R, but Im still very tempted by the ST205 GT4.
@@_Zekken due to the import laws in Australia there is only 77 something ST205 sold here back in the day and you cant bring them in yet from Japan. love to have one but very rare and expensive when they do come up for sale
Too many cool 60/70’s cars to choose from, some lucky owners out there. Shame we didn’t get much like this in the UK, saying that it would have rotted out by now. Keep up the good work lads👍
I own the white gen1 RS turbo with the gold BBS rims at 14:24 that stopped to park in the gap beside the car Al was standing at! Can't believe I didn't park there.
Even though I'm a 510 guy I do have three Datsun 1000s . One of which is rotary 12A powered. One A12 powered and one stock. Cheers from Canada, awesome bunch of cars!
My first car. Was probably and embarrassment to others in 1993 but it was freedom to me and I rebuilt the motor and painted it and retrimmed the interior myself. It's no Golf R with a stage 3 kit and I am thankful for that.
Bloody Legends you've even got my dad hooked! swapped my sixth gen celica for an rb30 powered r31 skyline gxe the series started the week I got it home. 5th and 6th gen awd celicas are beasts.
I swear that was a KE30 or KE55 parked next to the crown at 5:05. Would be my favorite car just because my first car was a KE55 with a 4K-C. Didn't have any power but it was my first car. It was buttercup yellow and the clear coat was pealing. We called it The Banana. So many fond memories of that car. Wish I still had it.
I don't think I've choked and guffed at something more than when Al just casually said "normally you've got taste in your arse" bloody hell that's a rocker there 😂
Another great video guys. You guys are generating a lot of great content and these short off project videos of cool stuff that you are doing are fun to watch
First car was a KE20 Corolla... So was second...third..... and fourth. Rallying will do that! Wish I had one of them now! Have an 86 Cressida sitting in the yard ready to be revived. Now I'll have to get on to it. Cool seeing Yod and Woody checking out other peoples rides!
I have 2 uzs131 crowns, and genuinely thought for ages that they both have a busted engine mount, so thanks for teaching me that it's like that for a reason ! Hahaha
I love old Toyota's my first car was a 77 KE30 2door 5speed with the 3TC second car was a TE72 same engine/trans. I've had many Corolla's and Celica's since then ranging from 74-82
So, so, so many good wagons. Love the red Crown. Gotta go for that purple TE70 Corolla van though, couldn't see the engine, but did see the ITBs! I'm a sucker for old Toyota wagons and sedans.
CELICA GT4 ST185!!!! God damn i love those. Hence why i own one. All be it the america Alltrac one. Wish i had access to jdm parts for mine like Aussies do. Duno why Al doesnt like 3sgte's because yamaha designed the head and they are capable of BIG power. Plus its got WRC wins in its history. 3sgte and 1jz/2jz are my fav engines. Then 4g63 and 3sge beams
you guys are so lucky! up here in eastern canada Japanese cars are quite rare and the cost is staggering here, i suppose cause of shipping and other laws... nways great stuff, cheers!
Little Datsun 1000!!! Man I had three of those back in the day (Coupes that is) (two red ones and a white one) with datsun 1200 motors Weber cabs, extractors and 13x 6" Ford four bolt wheels on the back. With all that back in the late Seventies and early Eighties they were little rocket ships. Not to many little cars of the day had full instrumentation and machine faced to boot, two door and full tint glass with black interior bucket seats and floor shift. Shit now I want to go look for one.
Had several Mazdas all bought new. We had two RX4 Wagons a white '76 and a red '77 which we got when the '76 got wrecked. The 13Bs really loved to rev. I was hitting the rev alarm all the time. The 12A in the '79 1st gen RX7 didn't seem to want to rev as freely. We also had a '91 Miata that I just sold 18 months ago. In the European car world I had a '62 VW Beetle with soft sunroof, a '67 SAAB 96 V4, a '82 Volvo Turbo GT wagon, a '72 BMW 2002 I bought new when I came home from Viet Nam, and a '86 MB 300E 5-speed car that I still have.
Don't know how y'all got them, but my favorite classic old Japanese car is the 69-72 and 73-76 Dodge Colt/Plymouth Cricket (Mitsu Galant/Lancer). I had 2 '76 models (paid $25 for the first, $300 for the second, both 1.6/4 speed) I got the second from a dealer for a song ($50 less than they paid) because it had a bad head gasket, later did an in-frame overhaul, then a freeze cooked the motor (radiator froze, so no flow) and converted it to a 2.6 and 5 speed It was lowered 3 inches on the front, 2 in the rear, had 14x7 wheels with 235/60 tires (cut and rolled fenders etc). Looked like a mess, went like stink, turned great. Took a sales job needing lots of mile driven, and found a 73 GT auto trans later converted to a 5 speed. Put 250,000 miles on it and would probably still own the thing, but some moron backed into it with a Dodge Pickup . . .doing about 20 mph . . .on a shoulder of the road. If I would have had a front crossmember, or the fab skills I now have, I could have fixed it. but I let it go. Second favorite are the Celicas from that same era.
Learn something everyday. Apparently 1UZ-FE indeed came on S130 Crown first (August 1989), 2 months before Celsior (October 1989); although LS400 unveiled on January 1989, it wasn't on sale until September 1989.
What was your favourite car? let us know!!
I like the bright yellow Honda!!
@@joshswart3658 ooooh shiiiiii.....

Celica ra23

All those 4 door boxy things make me drool. The cressies are awesome.

it's so great seeing Al crack a smile as the boost comes on. He really is Turbo Yoda
So many cool cars that we don't have over here!! Thanks for taking us to the show with you!

love this channel. The world is a better place with the skid factory on my TV
There were so many cars you walked past i wanted you to stop at. The celica gt4 was one, so much nostalgia though. Awesome video
Brings back memories of bush bashing heaps of that stuff, and now they're worth a fortune!
This is the best car meet up, I've ever witnessed. Need one of these in NSW
The white 88' Camry SV21 at 4.10 is my old girl, just clicked over 44,000 km yesterday, completely original.
All those boxy oldies makes my heart warm. I want A60 Carina for myself, maybe one day...
Love watching you guys just nerd out over old cars, one of my favourite past times 👌👌👌
1uz Cressida owner here. So much love for this show wish I had a meet like this in Vic to go-to
Respect for spreading love for Deboss, love both of your channels
Those GT4 Celica’s are sweet. Reminds me of Japanese import one I used to own in New Zealand
I got one its an alltrac in u.s.a. but still a st185. I LOVE IT. Fuck Sti's toyota awd turbo rally car is the true rally legend
Nz is the promised land of sick jdm stuff...

@@darryl3392 wow really? I didnt know aussie had import laws that tight. Yay for NZs lack of import laws?
Nice to see the 1UZ getting some love, I have one in a X8 Cressida here in Canada 🇨🇦

Great to see sooo many supporters on the list at the end
Nice to see you guys out enjoying cars. I don't know how your not all swamped with people wanting a chat and a lemon squash
Those Datsun door locks... I remember as a kid grabbing those red hot black tabs with all my might to unlock the doors. Good ol' Datto's.
Caught this yesterday on Patreon, now watching in HD again! Loved the mild hooning on the way to the show, extra points for vintage rides :)
11:11 made me so happy! Woody loves a Turbo Toyota! As a GT-Four owner and enthusiast, that very nice ST185 is my favourite car of the video. 👌🏻
That drive reminded me of driving through North Carolina on a warm, sunny day
I own the white gen1 RS turbo with the gold BBS rims at 14:24 that stopped to park in the gap beside the car Al was standing at! Can't believe I didn't park there.
@MunkyGTR she's loud ahaha

Omg so many awesome cars my favorite by far the datsun 1000 i used to own one as a teenager 1000 auto 0-60mph in a weekend downhill great vid guys
My first car. Was probably and embarrassment to others in 1993 but it was freedom to me and I rebuilt the motor and painted it and retrimmed the interior myself. It's no Golf R with a stage 3 kit and I am thankful for that.
Freedom is where its all at if you love you're car don't matter what anyone else thinks. Holding out for motor ex
Whoa, so cool to see them in Redcliffe at the start of the video!
@David Denisov Nah. At 1:25 they're driving on Hornibrook Esplanade, going onto the Ted Smout Memorial bridge.

Thanks for featuring my Crown wagon. 👍 You certainly know your stuff.

My favourite part was Tim filming into the sun the whole time :)
It was Pat filming. Tim was over in the shade with Dave watching a couple touch each other on the side of the oval.

That Crown wagon is mint! Got an MS112 myself which I am about to start a 7mgte conversion on.
The white 4 door Corona mk2 used to have a 2 door loved it

That bluebird. My first car (standard L20B) loved gravel car parks/roads.
Wandering around a car show with your mates on a nice day talking crap is one of THE best ways to spend an afternoon
Good to see a couple of GT4s
God i know right. Mine will have the jdm drivetrain by 2020
