dope video!!! We recently added a 360 to our packages and that thing is a pain to take out and manage and still have to hire an attendant to run it. your set up is cost effective and super easy. (quick short story: did a function at my house and set up my ipad on a tripod and said to myself, there has to be a cheap easy way to do this without spending over 1k.) and sir you found it. wife/partner is on the site now looking at units!!! thank you man!!!
Thanks!! Okay now I see why you were in such a rush to see this video lol. I would have done this a long time ago had I known this option existed. I hope Chris sells a lot of his PhotoBooth kits because I really appreciate his help in solving this problem for me. Good luck bro!
I have had a booth for 5 yrs now and it brings in big bucks and when the dj gigs slow down we still work. I now have 3 booths and a 360 as well. It's multiple streams of income. I choose to be a businessman who happens to be a djay and photobooth operator. Best wishes
Wow 2L absolutely hats off to you for creating this!! I absolutely love how you used the Rockville totem as the base wow what a “duh” moment for me to see that! I always thought about how photo booths are basically just a nice stand with a photo booth and using the tried and true Rockville stand is such a brilliant idea!! I might need to get myself one of these great idea 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks Shay!! I have to give credit to Justin Garret. He posted about this first in the FB group "The Help Desk." When I saw his booth and his link to Chris'OTPhotobooths site, I thought it was a brilliant way to get a low cost iPad photobooth that was compact in size and easy to setup and tear down. I was also amazed that hardly no one knew about this so after I put mine together, I knew I had to share this info with DJs around the world.
@@DJ2Legit007 Oh that’s great to know and a great idea by him but yes, thank you for trying the booth yourself and then putting this out there for us all!! Can’t wait to see you use this in the field and how you like it!
Thanks James! That's why I made this video. To show other DJs how easy and inexpensive it is and to stop paying those enormous prices for a simple iPad photobooth.
Hi ,hope your all good. Just wondering about an update on your photo booth. And also how is the digital approach going as I'm purchasing a photo booth and wanting to use digital but with props. Do people miss the physical copy of photos or are they happy to be emailed or text... Thanks 🙏
@@justingrearson2185 Well for me so far it's going great!! I've only used it on one gig so far, but I have it booked for 6 gigs in the future. I let them know upfront exactly what they are getting. So far, all the people who have booked it from me have no problems with digital emailed and texted copies only.
@@DJ2Legit007 thank you for the reply. Love your uploads. Keep it going. I will go ahead and buy a digital I think. And let the clients know up front :)
I've been waiting on this vid. I do like the black scrim. I've never tried the black but I do like the look of it. The access port is new!!! I don't have that but you can bet I'm going to add that!!
I can't tell you how thankful I am that you introduced OTPhotoBooths to me! I actually had made a longer version of this video talking about you and Chris and a whole bunch of other things, but that footage ended up on the cutting floor because I felt that video was too long. Yeah I like that white scrim too because I can light it up and that looks really cool, but something about the black scrim gives it a whole other type of look too that I really like as well.
Yeah I really dig this! I was looking to get a Photo Booth or a 360 booth, but I don’t have the space in my vehicle. Plus I didn’t want to invest that much money at the time, but this right here is what I need, compact and adequate for my needs. Thanks for the video Vince! This is… “Legit”
You and I have the same circumstances which is why I love this photo booth! Very inexpensive to build, easy to transport, small footprint, easy to use and looks great!
@@DJ2Legit007 definitely true, I showed it to my partner (wife) lol and she said this is a lot more affordable and less of a mess to carry around. So yeah this is in my to get list.
I think I would put the stand on the side of the totem that has the hole. then drop the cords straight down. Also, the hole on the bottom stand won't be seen. But great set-up!!!
Super nice bro! What would be even more dope is if you could get thumb screws instead of allen head. Faster and also if you forget or lose the allen key you'd be covered. :)
I TOTALLY agree with that idea and can say that I was disappointed at first about the Allen Wrench. I've come to grips with it now though lol, but still a thumb screw would be so much better!
Okay I won't laugh. It depends on how big it is and if it has a 12MP front facing camera or not. You can go to Chris' website at OTPhotobooths and ask him. He will be able to specifically answer that question for you.
You must be speaking about yourself and not me, right? Lol j/k. As of right now, I have no desire, plans or ambitions to get a DSLR photobooth at all. I am a DJ, not a photographer. I have this booth just to supplement my DJ business. That's it.

You should replace the hex bolts with finger turning knobs...
If I can find some, I will.
Very nice addition to your setup ..
Great job as usual. Very informative thank you for all your hard work.
Thanks Dan!!

Brother, if only you had done this 3 years ago , wouldn't have spent 3k on a salsa...love it , gonna build another one!!!
If I had known about this 3 years ago, I would have done it then too lol.
Thanks for sharing. I might be doing the same thing.
I don't blame you at all. You'll save a lot of money doing it this way and the results are just as good, imo.
It really looks nice bro! Great addition for you business at a cheap price

You know there is a hole on the bottom stand in the front and one on the back too, right?
Good morning, great video. I've been wanting into getting a photo booth. For your setup, how much do you charge your clients?

I've added a mirror photo booth and 360 to my packages this year and they've paid for themselves quickly.
I can totally see that!! Congrats!!
Nice!
Sweet!! What iPad are you using??
