I've built a sensor a while back which can measure the diameter in real time while the filament is moving with a precision of +-0,01mm. This can be used to control the motor speed for more precise filament. I tried thinking outside the box when constructing the sensor, the total cost is about 15€ for building it.
Wouldn't it be simpler to grind the bottles and make them enter the extruder differently? This way you would have a single filament more easily without making one bottle at a time
It's a good way to do it but it's not simpler as you have deal with extrusion speed and proper diameter ,moisture, grinding etc. It involves lot of process and is Expensive, On the other Strip to filament is easier to do
Hey I'm not really in for a huge project, I just want a simple model of this for my school, Can you tell me a how a working small model for this would work without much budget?
Hey can you please helpme, actually i working on my minor project so i want to make that device which convert waste bottle into wire so please give me some explanation about how you make yours . Thanks
@@Creative3DP hello, I mean from plastic bottle to filament... now I do it with success at 200⁰..it needs a very little cut and pass it through the extruder, then pull with big force. Now a question about dimension of plastic string..there is a mode to be costant in the cut? And what s the dimension? 2cm? And another question about size noozle: 1.75 mm is only good or is better a little bigger? For example 1.80mm?
ooh, I thought you were referring to printing with PET Filament. Well it depends upon the thickness of bottle's wall. For Eg for 2-liter Coca-Cola bottle, I cut at a width of 12mm. As for the second question, I used a 2mm nozzle because I didn't have a 1.75mm drill bit, and it worked well since PET filament is slightly hollow. You can adjust the flow rate accordingly. In my case, I used 120% flow, but it may vary in your situation. You can go for 1.80 nozzle
Instead of wasting time and energy cutting the bottom off dozens of bottles manually just to make a usable amount of filament, you can instead glue sandpaper on a circular disk, attatch it to a motor and some gears, secure the whole system on a solid surface, and sand the bottom much more cleanly and consistently. All you have to do is press the bottle down on the sandpaper and watch as it does its thing. You can even salvage the dust for further recycling.
Now print a bottle
I wonder how stable the diameter is 🤔
Its quite stable as it only gives a flat strip a round shape
How wide is the tape?
@@Creative3DPcan i built it myself?

Please what is this machine called
dry the filament u got a little bit more translucent and on the layer fan a 30%😊
How do you dry it? I also don't want it to be translucent
I think it's best way to recycle plastic bottle

The print that was showed first was stringy and totally different than the second one but overall it is pretty cool
Can you tell me nozzle diameter and pet filament material thickness?
Nice, liked and Subbed. What temperature are you using to turn it into filament? And what temp you printing at?
how much the temperature value settings

When you put in the cutter .... The bottle need to be heated first to let her little softer or you bring to cut her well in normal temperature?
What is the extruder called
Whats the max temp of heating element?
tutorial?
What about air buble trap inside the filament
What are the nozzle and build plate temperatures???
260 degree nozzle temperature and 80 degree bed temperature
what the temperature settings?
I need machine how to buy sir
Hey I'm not really in for a huge project, I just want a simple model of this for my school, Can you tell me a how a working small model for this would work without much budget?
I think this is one cheapest one but if you want to make it for way less, You can try with Glue gun and electric screw driver. That might work
Can you please me whats model heater use
Is it durable? I want to make a startup in my city to recycle pet battles for street lighting
I still doubt the commercial viability of this PET filament as quality might fluctuate but you can still try.
Can i ask how thick is the pet strip u cut from bottle? (thy for respone)
depend on wall thickness, for this Sprite bottle i cut it into 10mm strip
Amazing way to recycle a bottle.

Sure, I have created a whole tutorial on this Channel you can check that out
Hi can i ask u I heard that bottle pla need 260 c to print can ender 3 v2 print it
Its PET not Pla and yes it needs 260 degree to print atleast
wow Amazing
Can I change the bottle to a silicone phone case?
No, silicone requires a very high melting temperature or even to deform and can't be printed
Amazing
Bhaiya aapane kaise banaya please mujhe sikhaiye😊😅🎉❤
How did you manage tu get a hot enought pour pet on an ender 3😊
Ender 3's hotend can reach upto 260 Degree Celsius. Which is hot enough to print with it
Can u give me the Arduino code?
The machine used to melt the bottle what is the name of that ?
It is a nozzle that heats up, but I don't know how they make it come out like this. Can someone who knows please tell me?
What is this thing that heat the nozzle i want to buy it for the same think
heating block and ceramic heater
files ??
Hi dose ender 3 max neo support this filament?
every 3d printer support this filament
Thanks
"3D printed masterpiece"
That's good that you can reuse bottles like that, but... can you reuse that "masterpiece" somehow now?
Hello sorry, what temperature to melt filament pet? Cause 200°C it not melt, and 250° melt too much
I do at 250° and it works well but if it's not working for you so I would recommend decreasing the temperature to 240 or 245 it might work

@@Creative3DP ok perfect, thank you for full answer! :) Then I will use 2mm as you, it's better for the reason of slightly hollow that you mentioned!
Quelle température d'imposition
210 Degree Celcius
@@Creative3DP What is the thickness of the strip? I make 1cm but the printer doesn't take it. How many mm do you use exactly?
3d print file pls for the bottle cutter
I will soon release the file for the bottle cutter separately.
where can i buy the bottle cutting blade and heat machine?
Sorry can I have the machine name? I need it!
Its a diy machine. available on cults3d - cults3d.com/:1184966
Shame these pulltrusion machines can cost more than a printer itself
Nah
I wonder if it can be made into a plastic bottle again . Its usefull
a smaller one maybe yes
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Super as tu un profil d’impression à partager je suis sous cura
Not sure about this one
U should have printed another bottle, would have bin funny
Smart
How to purchase machine
its a diy machine but you can download the stl files
