i completely agree. McCabe was and truly is a genius. its a shame they aren't still together. Shame they broke up after Urban Hymns. I think they had so much potential to further their success. And yes, between Radiohead, The Verve, Oasis, Suede, and a few other brit bands ruling the airwaves at the time... The Verve, I'd have to say were my favorite. They stand today as one of the greatest bands/sounds coming from that decade in music, right up there with the pumpkins, and ratm.
