Amphora official registration and under coal firing on swiss water 22 Mai 2017

The steamboat AMPHORA was today the first time tested on swiss water the Rhine river close to Basel and fired with coal.
The swiss water police certified today my boat and it is now officially registered with the number BL180...

Great Boat. You have taken the opposite route to me in how to fit out a boat. You will be busy with all that. I have gone for the very simple way, i do not even have a steam blower . After a couple of trips out i have decided to it a air pump so slowly I am fitting more to my boat.

Thank you...Yes and I like the technical way with some steam teaching elements... I 'automatized' some steps... adjustable Stuart 5A feed pump... adjustable SW12 steam pump... adjustable lubricator... adjustable condensator with overflow... I may have for longer trips just to add occasionally some coal or paraffin... Michael from Preston SE made the joke to me to automatize the coal addition too :-)... good luck for your modification and if you have questions feel free to contact me
