You should start incorporation .5 scores to differentiate close bats. Also love your vids man
They do, but they always give a different category a .5 to keep things even at the end lol.
i think that’s why they switched from the 5 point system to 10
They could also use .25 to differentiate from the ties using the .5

My 12yo is mashing with the Guardian. He is an avg. Size 12yo and for the price it started as a BP bat and he is hitting lasers now with it.
You should add a 0.5 to the Clout’s sweet spot to differentiate it from the Guardian.

Given the inevitable decrease in power that will occur with repetitive swings/muscle fatigue, it would be interesting to compare exit velocity relative to bat speed, to help lesson the confounding affect of fatigue as the day progresses.

I think this really brings the issues with the bat bros scale into the light. Having a rating system with only like 10 points can lead to situations where a bat might have noticeable differences, but it isn't reflected in the scale.
yea man because I got the stringking because it had the same ratings as the guardian but after watching this i’m kinda bummed that there’s 2 better options for not that much more money.
got the goods one piece before my juco szn last year. got it for $250 with military discount. i’m committed to a rawlings D1 now, will check out the clout

You were getting exit velo with launch angle on the Clout. seemed like it was the only bat to do that.

I think this review is very accurate. Son swings and loves the Guardian and that sound and juice when you find the sweet spot is amazing. The durability of the Guardian has been incredible as well. Still got the fire after a ton of use no issues whatsoever. After using the Guardian for over a year the area for improvement for us would be increasing the sweet spot size on it. We haven’t tried the clout but son feels the gunner has a similar swing weight to the guardian albeit a tiny bit more endloaded and may go with that to increase the juiced area on the barrel. Would you agree with my son’s analysis about the gunner for what he is looking for? Thanks

We put a taper and a new 1.8mm grip on my son's Stinger Guardian, and now he won't swing anything else. Mashes with that bat.

I was gonna say "If you're gonna double wrap, gotta add the cost of that to the bat" but they both needed double wrap lmao i still think an Atlas is better than both, so I'd game an Atlas, Bonesaber Hybrid, or Guardian/Clout and keep a metal 2 for training and/or for a team bat
Either way, rawlings colleges are gonna be LEGENDARY this year

it’s all personal preference. i personally love the goods one piece. i was using the voodoo one 33inch, had issues off the machine (too lite). switched to the 34inch goods one piece and my exit velo spiked
the 34" Goods 1-pc is noticeably better than the 33" imo

I need a new bat I am 12u and need a bat good out of the wrapper and I need it to be durable any suggestions
Bats good out of the wrapper are one pieces, however I would recommend a composite bat as it is much better in the end. Since ur 12, looks for USSSA bats, not BBCOR. Last year I rocked the catx composite and loved it, however it’s really expensive. Hype fire is probably the best bat for USSSA, but also really expensive. I’d look at the bat bros rankings on their website also
Cat 9 composite used. You won't break it. It's going to be broken in. Should be 100 bucks.

I don’t think you’ll ever see this, but I’d like to see an old school bbcor like I have and see how hot it was back then. 2011 Easton Omen 2 piece composite bat. I’ve heard rumors it’s illegal in high school and college play. But I’d like to see it compared to let’s say a Rawlings icon or a Meta 2 piece

Does the Nuke have more power or is the Guardian the same as the nuke but has a worse sweet spot and better swing weight?
The Guardian is essentially a lighter Nuke with a little less sweet spot

Clout AI for sure. It has a bigger sweet spot and the same pop as the Mach AI

The clout should be an 8 or 9 for sweet spot. Cause even on the miss hits, you were still driving the ball. Cam brought up great points with the clout.
I felt like they were reluctant to put a “non expensive “ bat too high up. The clout banged toe to toe with their #1 bat, and both guys clearly liked how it felt. I also don’t think swing weight should be a ranking factor, some people like end loaded , some like lighter feeling, good to know it though
@thegodofwine8228 I agree. The clout is supposed to be replacing the 5150 (😞), and if you watch the video they did with the clout, he was driving the ball deep.

i am trying to find a bat that's cheap and does not ring up the hands much and has a good sweet spot and power, and is a cheap price around 150-200 i am 14 years old and about to play my first high school ball. does anyone have good bat that has these traits. i am thinking about getting the stringking metal 2 but tell me any other options
I have a stringking and I would say get the cat 6 from justbats because It has a more balanced swing weight and may be a little cheaper but I just bought the clout ai so I’ll let yall know how it swings for me
