Thanks sir, the water gets into first compartment from the river, then there is an outlet from below the second compartment where the water gets into it and passes through layers of rocks and gravels. The wall between the second and third compartment is completely blocked. The water rises from second compartment and flows over to the third compartment like a waterfall where it filters through the fine sand and goes to the fourth compartment through an outlet below. Then the final outlet is channelled into a water tank for usage in your farm. Hope this answers your question. Peace and blessings

You can wash the big stones and gravels every after 2 years. But in first chambers, always drain every week when you notice sediment. Then the third chamber, wash the fine sand as well after 2 years.
