- In this Subnautica Below Zero guide I will be showing you where to find lead. The lead can be obtained by searching for locations of Galena Outcrops. To make this easier, the mineral detector can be used. The place that I will be showing you in this video is the Twisty Bridges biome can contains a large amount of Galena to aquire the Lead.

You know their placement is random right? Same with all fragments. They even reload in different places if you quit and reload.
When this game gets released on consoles, this channel is going to get crazy big. These may not be getting many views now, but when the game is properly released, that's going to change a lot!

Story time. All I did in Subnautica Below Zero was cry because I didn’t have lead. One night it dawns on me to come to this channel for help (duh!) within half an hour I had a Sea Truck FULL OF LEAD! I was so excited! I started to build all the modules I needed, I went off to build my new base with a glass roof, I put foundation far and wide & then- GAME CRASHED… my game crashed and since I wasn’t near any danger I didn’t even consider saving for 2 hours…
Haha, I feel you. Lost few hours to below zero crashing.
This was genuinely a lot more effective for finding lead then I thought it would be. Thanks man, your a life saver.

You can bring the PRAWN suit and do the item glitch by opening your pda then closing it and entering the prawn while it’s closing so the detector is in the prawn suit but you need to line up your cross hair up with the option to get it the prawn and you need to silect the resource first before you get in and use the default prawn arm to break and collect the resources

do mineral outcrops respawn? because in the first game i remember that kinda being an issue where i felt like if i needed minerals i had to go so far cause i got them all around my base.

I found diamonds and gold in cracks near the thermal vents. Pity I couldn't find a stash of lead in cracks too.

Unfortunately there are no large deposits of lead in Below zero. You just need to farm the outcrops

What about ore deposits like for the prawn suit's drill arm?
Ik I came here because I was trying to find mass amounts of lead, like the ones you need the drill arm for. Unfortunately; since I can't seem to find any videos that mention anything like that, it's safe to assume lead just doesn't come in large deposits like gold and titanium do😔

Man I am struggling to find lead here. Found a story location by accident which is cool but only 1 lead after 20 minutes of hunting around and avoiding brute sharks

Is the game storyline over cauz a starred the game it says that the story is finished but it still says that the game is going under heavy construction and i'm afraid that the next update will destroy my current save
Yeah the story changed. It still doesn’t have an ending ...but the last update and release is imminent. So I’d wait. Should have the final update with story ending in the next few months. Unknown worlds have said final release is early 2021

How about other locations? everyone on youtube has done a twisty bridges and it isn't enough lead.
I don’t think there’s anywhere else in the game to get such a large amount in one time, you’d have to scour the map for crumbs of galena
I need 14 lead to do all the sea truck modules. 🤣
i got 1 piece and found three outcropes in an hour
Since there are no "drillable" lead nodes find the small galena nodes and with the propulsion attachment on the Prawn pick it up and hurl at a rock wall. Rather than getting either a titanium or lead you will get multiple lead and titanium fragments. It appears the further away you launch them the more you get... Doesn't appear to do the same with hand held one however. BTW, great channel Chemical Apes!
Holy shit this is the best tip. I was a bit skeptical, but tried it in game and each outcrop gave 4+ mineral pieces. Thanks man

I'd be wasting so much time in this game if not for you! The scanner's pretty worthless though; it's hard to find exactly where the thing is, and by the time I've found it, I'm almost out of air and not sure where I left my sea truck. Once you learn to recognize the rock (slightly darker and slightly different shape than the other ones) it seems easier and safer, especially early in the game before any tank upgrades, to look with your eyeballs with the help of your truck's headlights, and then just pop out and grab it, then get back in.
When is the subnautica below zero going to be out on xbox 1 because man i love this game and love your vids

I think lead is much harder to find cause it’s so rare for me to find one. Magnesium is easy for me but lead is harder 😂 for my opinion.
