Looks so much like Poland from the style of the XIX century buildings, through communist era blocks to the ones from 1990's and more recent ones. Same with the side walks,bus stops and other small things.
The City looks very developed. Kind of a similar vibe to many siberian or northeastern chinese cities. Also the people are very well dressed. I hope Mongolia has a prosperous future!

Most of the old buildings, including apartment blocks, shopping centres, business, government, offices, etc. were built by the Soviets or Chinese. They are unattractive and the interiors tend to be drab. Elevators are ancient and slow, if there are any and public areas are dim & smell of cooking. 😑

@@ianflindt In my opinion the biggest risk is whenever you turn to the right and if there is pedestrian zebra crossings, your car frame would actually block the view. And your blind spot is on your left side. If you are to change lane to the faster lane, you have got to be extra cautious.

It is an intersection as you can see. The police signals the lane to stop so the other lanes could move and fix traffic blockage. When the lane is stopped the pedestrians move.
When there is a traffic police at an intersection, it means the intersection is busy. Sometimes the traffic police lets them move abiding the traffic lights, or they take matters in their own hands if things get too hot.
