Mindfulness of Emotions Guided Meditation

  • Today's meditation is a practice in mindfulness of emotions. We will begin with a few minutes of breath meditation before moving into a more open awareness. Observing the mind and body, we will watch emotions arise and pass. This is a practice to help us see our emotions with more clarity and insight.
    In this guided meditation, we are not seeking to make specific emotions arise or keep other ones from coming up. Instead, we are simply noticing with mindfulness what comes into our awareness. The task is not to judge each experience, but to get to know it.
    During the practice, you may get wrapped up in painful or difficult emotions. Remember that it can be helpful to switch to a few phrases of compassion in these moments, reconnecting with your intention to respond with kindness and care.

    Wow thank you. I was going through deep rooted emotions tonight of hurt in the middle of my plexus and as soon as you said " see if you can break it down " that was exactly what I needed. I stop seeing the pain I saw want it was in reality. And I felt in peace. Thank you so much.♥️

      This works so good for me, thank you! Unfortunately four times an ad barged in with a lot of sudden noise.... an extra practice in focus I suppose bit it would maybe work better without...

    What a fantastic meditation. I think it must be the best one I have done to improve detached awareness. You deserve so much more viewings on here

    Wish I could find more like this?...which is a nicely paced and spaced meditation instead of too much talking. Thank you for allowing this space to be present to whatever is arising

    just to let you know...i have been doing this for the past few months and its gr8...but there are , now , commercials in the middle......are u aware😏 of this change???

    you MUST be trying to teach us patience....SERIOUSLY , THREE (at least in the middle) ads in a 30mins MEDITATION....And i brought this up weeks ago (on at LEAST 2 of your vids) and NO RESPONSE.....i guess you turning into a corporation....i am out!
