I bought the 30A set when it was first released.. and gave it away very shortly after. I bought them specifically for backgrounds, unfortunately, they are super streaky on any space bigger than an inch. Another layer doesn't help, it just streaks more or in a different area. Then I thought I could use them to cover lines, especially in the older Mythographic books, however they are too opaque to go over or next to lines without making a mess, but not opaque enough to cover them. I actually put six layers of white over some lines at one point and you could still see the lines once it had dried. Can they be used as a base? Yes, but there are much easier and better options that do the same thing, but give a less textured area to color over and a less chalky finish if left uncovered. I would suggest anyone who wants to buy them buy a small set first. They are available almost open stock (you have to buy five at a time but they can be different colors) on the arrtx website as well.
I’ve been searching and waiting for a video like this one! I’ve been looking for more ways to use my acrylic markers other than just small details and going over lines. Thank you!!!
Great video! I really like your positive attitude - it is so easy to listen to you and learn from you. I think I'm going to give these a try. Thank you so much!! 🙂
Thanks Shel, I learnt a lot. I have posca pens & a cheap version unopened & the only set I have used is the ohuhu set of 12 glitter paint pens. Thanks for showing how to use them so I can crash my stash. I do like the look of the Artx which don’t need activation. I always wash the nibs off so pls let me know if they dry out prematurely. Much love & *virtual hugs* from Perth Western Australia ❤❤❤
I agree with the set b. I think it depends on what you usually color and use. The Metallica look nice. But I would rather have the colors most commonly used for nature and just in general coloring.
On your title page it says you are reviewing the 60A but in the video you say that it is a review for the 60B set the text says 60A and you already have 60B (?) Your swatch sheets you show demonstrate you are swatching set 60B (?).... It's sort of confusing to me also the different sets and how some colors are same as the other and some are different so I understand why. I watch a few videos on this as I am interested and think say what? A, B, same and not the same colors???... so I have not purchased them yet but looking further at your video if the 60B set has neon colors I would choose that if and when I purchase. On amazon it does not say (that I could find) which set the neon colors are in and it's difficult to tell by their swatches which have no names just numbers. I might would have purchased them on prime day but again, I was not sure which box I wanted and had the neons. Thank you for demonstrating your technique with acrylic markers. If did purchase and use your code on amazon does one put the code in at checkout?
Sorry for the confusion - the boxes are very different colours and on Amazon they will have A or B written on the name of the item - there is no A or B on packaging. The neons are in the blue packaged box that I show in this video. The pastel pink box does not have the neons or Metallics. Hope this helps 🤗💗
Great video. I appreciate you taking the time to give me examples of the products. And I love that you give honest reviews. Tfs
You are so welcome! Glad you like the video and thank you for watching 🤗💗
Love your videos. Thank you for beeing you. You are my inspiration ❤

So happy to hear this video gave you some ideas. I haven’t noticed drying out yet in my first set that I have had a few months 🤗💗
Hi Shelly thank you for sharing 😊💜
Hi Cindy! Most welcome, thanks for watching 🤗💗

I totally agree with you. Definitely depends on what you are looking for 🤗💗
Everything I have read says that you are supposed to store acrylic paint markers horizontally not vertically.
Hi, beacuse this is paint, I wonder if you can blend using a paint brush while its still wet.
Your colouring is so nice!
Why do you put paper between sheets-where you have a completed page? 27:09
