I have been a fan for 57 years. I decided that I was going to change my perspective this year because Dallas is not going to change. I watch Dallas for entertainment purposes only, not for the purpose to win. This entertainment time takes up time for Sunday. The win last week against Pittsburgh was our Super Bowl (imaginary). This is good as it gets!

I smile evey time somebody makes that statement. Pro sports franchises are business, plain and simple, and they make the bulk of their profit from media rights deals. In the case of the NFL, their TV rights contracts are so massive every single team is guaranteed a profit before the first kickoff of the season. An empty stadium might be somewhat embarrassing, and losing all that merchanding income would sting a little, but the Cowboys would still make money and people would tune in from all around the country, just like they do now, to watch the Cowboys lose.

A JAG QB on an elite roster is gonna win some games. He's still a JAG though, and you can't be paying him like he's the next Tom Brady. Anyway, the Eagholes did the same with Hurts, as did the always-prone-to-herd-behavior New York Giants with Daniel Jones. Meanwhile the only proper starting QB in the division is a month into his rookie deal and is basically playing for free compared to Dak. Good luck...

I feel you man. I'm a fan of Dak but no defending him this go around. The whole team seems deflated. McCarthy is out the door you'd think he would pull out all the stops. But it seems like he is going out of his way to be conservative. On the first interception Dak trying to force it to 88 when Tolbert was wide open on the side and probably would have scored. So frustrating.
On a basic level it is fixing the running game, o line, and line backers and defensive linemen that can stop the run. On offense they need a receiver with speed and deep threat capabilities so they can't double and triple CD. I knew after the first 2 series what was up. That's why I didn't watch the game.

I'm honest and i feel like I've been honest since week 2. My view of this season. At best we go 8-9 or 9-8 miss the playoffs and our team will sadly stay that way until the Jones family leaves the cowboys alone.
