Our ONLY TD came from a broken, trick play, and everyone is screaming foul over whether an elbow touched in front of the goal line or not! Stretching, begging for a bone. That’s not NU’s rich history; we used to pound and dominate teams off the ball and run scores of 45-7 most Saturdays. Shows you just how bad it’s gotten when we’re screaming We Wuz Robbed!

@@DeBa1226 I'm a Michigan fan, and I think the ball was a full 3 or 4 inches across the line when his elbow hit the dirt. Too bad it wasn't called a TD on the field, because you guys would have won. And for what its worth, I felt Nebraska had the better athletes on the field. Just too many errors to overcome. Nebraska just needs to clean up the mistakes, and if they do, I think Nebraska would beat Minnesota by 3 or 4 TD's in a rematch.

I’m a fan of coach Rhule but when you’re on the road you kick the field goal going into the half. The line did fine. Don't know what you are talking about. It's Sims' unawareness to pocket pressure. He can run the ball well, so if they are rushing him, he needs to run instead of looking down field for a pass. There was like 3 false starts (2 on the o-line), and 3 sacks all because of Sims. Being a life-long Husker fan, it pains me to say this. I have come to accept the fact that we will never again be an elite team with national title asperations. It has been 26 years since we won our last national title (1997). No high school kid today has any memory of the Huskers being a football giant. We're looked upon nationally as an average-to-below-average football team. I've told many a younger football fan that Nebraska used to be a football juggernaut and the usual response is something like: "Nebraska!? Are you kidding?" That's what we're up against when we try to recruit the elite high school kids today, and its why we generally have to settle for mostly 3 star players. It's sad, but its reality.

Borh, these teams have new starting quarterbacks, which changes how these teams do business. They need to find their battle rhythm. Also, the officials didn't call any pass interference, which there was, the announcers talked about it multiple times. This would have been a different game if the refs did their job.

He had a couple of bad misses and a few really nice balls, so it depends on if he can tighten up his game a bit. The O-line was good at times and awful at others, so again, wait to see if they can sharpen that up.
