The first one was on Fleck. The next 3 were on Taylor. Too many extra moves in goal line situations. He’s young. He needs to learn to run different when you just need 2 yards for a touchdown.

As both a diehard EMU fan and Minnesota fan, I honestly don’t know how to feel about the outcome of this one. On one hand, you have Minnesota struggling on both sides for the first half. How are they going to play when they face a tough opponent like Michigan in a couple weeks or North Carolina next week? And then on the other you have total offensive meltdown in the second half for EMU, not picking up a single first down. I’m glad Minnesota won, being a fan of them, but it’s definitely disheartening as an EMU fan having seen my team finally win a bowl game last year, to just not have an offense at all this year. They need to use Samson Evans more. I think he only had like 11 carry’s the entire game but picked up over 70 yards.
He absolutely does. Last year EMU had Taylor Powell who was actually pretty decent, he got them to a bowl win as well as a power 5 win against Arizona State. I remember they started Austin Smith for a couple games last year due to Powell having recurring injuries and I thought “they’d better not have this guy starting next year.”

Should have been 14+ more points for the Gophers. Missed opportunities but a win is a win!

@assrammington7961 They are all on the TEAM. This isn't an individual sport. It's a TEAM. That includes players AND coaches
They'll figure it out. Basically, they are a new group with a lot of new players.
