    I was actually born in Christchurch and was in town when the earthquake hit. I was in the suburbs though because I was only 7 and I was at school but I remember that day very clearly.

    wouldn't death be secondary or tertiary as it is normally a result of a building crash! which is an effect of a primary effect in itself?

      Mantoxy Co this is a valid point and bone of contention. Our arguement is that deaths caused by the ground movement and its impact are primary whereas longer term causes of death such as the spread of cholera are secondary.
