This is so epic! Can’t believe I got to hear Philip Sayce playing through my archetype! Made it sound better than I ever could! No words! ❤🤯
Bet that's a dream come true for you man
I've been inda future, and you'll be playing an archtype : Philip Sayce
Rabea you know you've done something great when guys like Phil enjoy digital.
I can't believe that he's getting these tones with a single coil pickup.
But now knowing that this is possible I definitely need to practice more. 😅
Your both monster players 🤩
I remember Rabea doing sounds like Philip Sayce on Andertons, now it’s gone full circle.
We all want a Philip Sayce plugin, l think if they can build on the Rabea plugin. And make a full on blues rock Philip sayce plugin in the vibe of Stevie Ray Vaughan / Hendrix / Sayce l reckon it will be there biggest seller.Philip seamed to really like the sounds that were a little out there, maybe he can help them come up with some really cool new sounding blues rock sounds for his own plug in.
Holy Cow! How can this man not to be more known?
He squeezes Electric guitar juice out of it. I can feel the taste of his guitar! So dam organic! He stands at the level where SRW left us and that means on theThrone .
Philip Sayce ..I got to follow this man
Hes actually pretty well known in the guitar community hes a fucking monster player
@@sebastiancamillusnielsen228 That I will count as next to nothing. He deserves a lot broader notice.
@@stevepelham9010 After high school he toured with Jeff Healey for years, also worked with Melissa Etheridge before going solo
SRV...not SRW, right?
But yes, I agree!
@neural DSP great job bringing Philip sayce who is hands down the most exciting musician to watch demoing effects and guitars. What a force of nature!
Man his way with words in describing tones is so majestic. Such a great video
Never thought I would hear Philip on a digital model. But he states something that is absolutely true, you feel the amp in your fingers.... I've played with many Archetype models, being my favorite until now the Tone King, will give the Rabea a try today
Philip did a video with the Tone King too!
Oh my god. This is heaven. Philip is my dude. So is Bea. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!!
You can tell he was genuinely inspired by the tones and really enjoying himself. That's what I'm always searching for, those moments when a sound brings out something unexpected in your playing. This is when I usually write new and exciting riffs and sometimes even play things I didn't know I could, that's true magic!
His playing is somehow reminding me of a freight train. Stevie levels of power.
Philip needs his own rig for this and I would be in there like swim wear. Favorite current player for sure!
Philip Sayce kickin' ass!!! Lovin' what NeuralDSP are bringing to the guitar world, I think Archetype Rabea is one of their best for dialling in glassy strat tones
Such a great player and artist. It a testament to Rabea and the DSP team involved. The feel "under the fingers" as he says, "inspiring to play" is huge. His ears are fine tuned to his sound and I bet if he wasn't feeling it, he wouldn't play like that. Sounded great.
This dude is one of my guitar heroes. I hope somehow he gets to play the bigger venues that he deserves to at some point in his career
That clean sound at 7:09 😳 amazing playing!
I love that tone! His playing has a lot to do with it too!
"feels like a twin reverb," he says, while playing through the twin reverb based amp model! nice one NDSP 🤘
A pure BEAST 🔥🔥🔥
I love this guy’s playing and he’s coming to the UK. Coincidentally I bought this yesterday
This video is the best for me. Two of my favourite guitarists of all time! 🔥
Wow!! Impressive Neural DSP demo with none other than Philip Sayce my bro from Toronto! The Rabea plugin is on sale right now. I just bought it!
Wrah! Philip Sayce! Yeah baby , grind that blues brother ! 💙 🎸 🎶
Saw him live in the Netherlands, it's a movement. Insane playing with so much energy and passion
Philip is so awesome!!! Gotta learn how to do that string pluck, whammy thing now!!! 🔥
This dude SMOKES!! I love this plugin and now I'm def a Philip Sayce fan. Wow.
I have about a dozen of these Neural DSP plug-ins. They are all great, and most of them have some Easter egg or special features. The Rebea sounds really great. If I had to choose one, it would be it. This plug-in has a huge feature that they didn't even talk about: a guitar synth! It tracks amazingly well and can be blended with other sounds.
Thank you so much Neural DSP. Now all we all have to do is work out how to get the magic Phillip gets from his fingers. Wish us luck!
The legendary Philip Sayce
Philip Sayce is my current favorite player! This is amazing!!!
it would be nice to upload his presets, so we could use them, right?
I'll go out on a limb here, and say that Philip's guitar hero is SRV. 😁
Philip is my ALL TIME FAVOURITE guitarist!!! Even above Hendrix and SRV
SRV has always been my favorite but god Philip is getting near that level.... It's like SRV/Hendrix blues but not as conservative, crazy crazy player it's ridiculous
Same here. Dude crazy good.
Philip could make line 6 sound good, he is a monster player
Great video, Philip is the real deal
Despite all what you see here, there is nothing like the real tube amp.
you don't have one if you think otherwise.
What a superb and coruscating performance and incisive video; I’m ebullient that Neural has collaborated with Philip Sayce, representing a diverse range of tones and styles the technology offers! 🙌🏻
this man.... killer tones💙💜💯💥
Philip Sayce signature next!
It would be great if they made a video showing a live rig with this plugin, I really wanted to know how to do it 😍🖤🥰
Was supposed to be what the Quad Cortex does 😂
Sayce is under appreciated
The high end fizz is the dead giveaway. It’s grating to the ear but this plug is capable of better tones.
Blew my socks off! wow. just wow.
Not many guitarists have feel like that , thats raw emotion and talent .
Holy f ! amazing guitar player and tones!
Nice, but his tone with actual tube amps and analogue rig sound much more INSANE.
All sounded so good, and those fuzz tones wow. What a legend.
@4:04 onwards is sick!
Are these Sayce tones available for download in an update?
Absolutely love this! Any chance we could get the presets made in this vid 🙏😊
Cant believe you ca get these tones from a plug in, not a boomer but big amp only guy and this make me rethink alot
7:22 BEAUTIFUL!!! 🥹🔥
Philip seems like such a lovely guy - monster player too
Mind Blown🐡
Philip Sayce 🎸👑
I love when a guitarist can do anything with single coils.
Was supposed to see him this past weekend but the show was cancelled. :( Haven't heard why. Hope he's ok. Fantastic player.
Fucking epic!
Holy Crap Brother Phillip!
Go0d LawD that last jam dayummmm
Killer player. Nuff said. 🤘
Love my tube amps...but damn this sounds great. Room for everything. Digital has come miles and miles from the beginning. The flexibility is really unmatched amd pretty much the best way to narrow down amps most will never touch. Great stuff..Mr. Sayce just seems to leak music through his entire being...
Damn it He can play!
The next stage of Philips musical career was conceived in front of our very eyes😎. That tone at 12:46 is Fuuuuccckin Wild!
Mark seems fun !!
I didn't bought the Rabea Plugin because of the Synths, I bought it primarily because of the Fuzz! ☺But the Synths are also cool, without question.
How is the fuzz? Can you get a good stoner doom sound out of it?
@@EdwinvanKoppen I dont have any expierience with stoner doom sound, sorry. Each plugin has a free 14 day trial, so you could test for yourself, if it can do the sound you are looking for. :)
Amazing , but man the clean tone has that digital fizz… have yet to hear a model tool pull off a good clean tone
Doom Blues, the new genre!!!!!
More Blues !!!!!
Want this on my Quad Cortex 😮
In addition to a couple of obvious influences, I think I'm hearing a bit of a couple of great Canadian players from a few decades back, Frank Marino and maybe Walter Rossi.
funny to see such a legend playing Rabeas model… Rabe who
Hell ya!!!
Wow 🔥🔥🔥
Dayum! Noice!!
Rad
sick!can someone tell me how to use wah with this rabea plugin?
I need to play mastesrs of war withi this guy
Kid in a candy store!
Amazing! What was that he did at 18:10?
plucked the G string (I guess) between the nut and the tuner.
Duuuuuuuuude!
sounds great but there is great deal of artifacts in the tone. I still don’t think digital fuzz is comparable to its analog counterparts. Break up and low gain tones sound great tho.
Super fuzz, lets burn..!!
i wish if they add this patches into cortex so we can buy instead of plug in ,
Just red lining pro tools lol. High five to the engineer.
The banshee came out of the shadows for a split second at 18:10. Watch what you're doing with her son ...G...
That was something else…
When can u downlaod these sounds onto a quad cortex!!!
Should be available in about 5 years but no promises
What expression pedal is he using?
Whoa. So great! Too good, sorry have to nitpick a bit to release tension: that wha sounded to good. Would have rocked through a cheapo transistor amp too. Cheating. Sometimes a bit too mushy over the top… cańt think of a better stoner rock plugin though. Dang. And that synth.
Sounds fantastic ❤but you really can tell its digital , still sounds amazing though ❤
Few people play with the fierce conviction of Philip! Gary Moore was the last
"Kinda cool" LOL :D
I hope he didn’t forget to change his Wi-Fi password afterwards!
Why
Smoking guitarist..Wow!
So many high frequencies...too many.
Is this what happens when you've played at high volumes your whole life and can't hear high frequencies anymore? Yikes...
One of the best out there 👌
philip is just abusive
18:10
Nah... so many great analog devices in the room and you waste your time with a digital plugin of a youtuber...
I prefer Sayce analog tone way better
Go there then🤷♂️
WAY too much processing on that tone. Sounds like Guitar Center in the 80's when every effects unit came with presets that were completely unusable in the real world....
