My headcanon for these two Starving Deviljhos is that they were captured individuals used by a rogue element within the Guild as test subjects. Normally, when a Deviljho turns Savage, it is basically only a matter of time before it dies of starvation. But somehow these rogue researchers managed to keep them alive, possibly with Dragon-element experimentation, and push them even deeper into madness and hunger. This caused their already berserk Dragon organs to go into true maximum overdrive. Even the World Eater doesn't deserve this fate - it can't control its hunger, after all.
Yes, I remember some theories about the Guild making some experiments on these two Savage Deviljhoes to make them even more aggressive and ending up creating these two, hence why you fight them only in the Arena.
@@dinorex3464 I subscribe to this theory myself. Maybe those scientists planned to use them as bio-weapons of sorts? Whatever the reason, I suspect they used Dragon element to keep these guys alive even longer. Starving Deviljhos, to me, are not golden but jaundiced, and are basically zombies.
I personally think, that MHO looks more like that, but i see where thats coming from. In the time where that game came out, Graphics were limited and so all games kinda looked the same :D Also if i remember that correctly MHFZ has the same Graphics than MHDos.
Legends say that MHF shut down because a starving deviljho was so hungry he ate the servers.
Legends may be true :O
Damn, just like Loc Lac from Tri
True words
@@grimclawdraven1065 you know funny story, I just managed to get MHF-Z fully playable with the Community Edition
@@Hraezlyrrrr Thats cool man :D
"Hunters are overpowered now the game got casual"
*Hunters then*
Frontier made real hunters :D

That is some nice story, I like it tbh :D
Sound so real inside this universe, especially in frontier with all those badass monsters.
Awesome variant! He is probably close to caniballism or self consumption making him so much more aggresive
Yeash hes insane and actually tries to eat you all the time :D

DJ: They fly now? Yep they're flying!
Btw is this game actually licensed by Capcom?
Yes
Just like Alan said before me, yes it was licensed by Capcom and is a insane game in my opinion.
Though I know this question doesn’t matter now that the servers have shut down, but how in the world did you get an English MHF?
Well there was a english patch made from the leader of the english Monster Hunter Frontier guild Cappucino
@@grimclawdraven1065 I'm guessing it's no longer playable?
Sry, for late answere.
No its not playable atm.
There is a Community on the restoration that is working with great progress.

Whenever I see frontier content I can't get over the fact that the formula seems to be put more spikes on it and give it huge aoe attacks.
Yeah thats probably the formular of Monster Hunter Frontier in a nutshell, but i like it a lot.
Especially the difficulty of the game is a lot of fun.
Is this old footage? since MHF shut down a while ago
Yes this is old footage, sadly :/
