That's a good idea. I'm not a fan of the Nivea balm so much. But I did try the Vaseline body stick today and it also worked.

He actually used the lip balm not the big stick.
I've used lip balm on my face since the 90s. I remember it being a makeup hack, along with vaseline or aquaphor, that was in magazines.
Right?! Such an old method. Marilyn Monroe would apply vaseline instead of powder over her makeup
I saw Risa do it so I went and bought the Aquaphor. I am 59 years old and have my fair share of undereye wrinkles. It worked! I was uber surprised but it really did make a difference.
It makes a smooth surface for sure!

The last two weeks of this hack has validated me I've been using aquafor under my eyes Forever and went I went to a makeup artist last year for a wedding she said come only with a clean face..I said I have to put aquafor under my eyes she was noooo. So foolish me I didn't, almost everything she did to me that day came out awful.. but especially my undereyes. Some things while not new are just timeless. Also when I say aquafor, sometimes it's CeraVe ointment sometimes it's a vaseline stick. It's all the same .

I tried a balm stick I got on Temu and it was pretty good too. I forgot I had the big stick Aquaphor, thanks for reminding me! You look so pretty!
I've been using a pure vitamin E stick for years in the same way. It looks like a lip balm, but it's not. It can be used any place on your body that's dry

Use the stick balm with SPF as a sunscreen. It is the only one that works for my sensitive eyes. Tubing mascara works pretty good with it.

I tried this under my eyes and it's lovely BUT it makes my mascara go all over and I don't even put it on my lids. I thought I remembered you using it before!
add a little bit of setting powder on your lids and lower lash line aftr your mascara. This will help any transfer

While petrolatum has always made me break out, I’ve got to try this!
I don’t believe the lip balm has petroleum in it.
The healing balm stick has 30% petroleum.
I use a foot balm called Flexitol for hard skin callouses 😂
In a word, "WOW"!

I tried this hack today. I used a small Aquafor stick. I hope it is the same thing. I didn’t see the big stick. I thought it worked pretty good.

Been doing this since I turned 45.. I basically did it out of desperation as any product (concealer) I used looked horrible. Initially I mixed facial oil.. then thought to try Vaseline which works great too.
When I saw this hack last week, I instantly thought of you. I swear in one of your older videos, you used the non medicated blistex under your eyes before concealer. So I thought to myself Rebecca did it first!

I wore vaseline under my makeup the other day all day long and loved it. So you just never know what's going to work!

Makeup looks great! I tried the aquaphor lip balm it did nothing for me but I’ve used the palmers cocoa butter sticks for so many things and I love them, also what shade is the lip oil you used?!
The shade is called Comb By. Palmers stick- what a great idea. I tried the Vaseline stick today and it worked too!

OK, they don’t seem to sell one pack in that stupid lip balm stick! lol 😂 Amazon as well. Wow, your make up looks great. The skin looks great. That tightening eye cream definitely did something. I definitely want to try this hack under my eyes.!! It’s not the same as like people think you use like the cream, which is like Vaseline feeling, but that’s not the same. Anyway, thanks for sharing. So do you still prefer the cerave over the aquaphor?
Yes I do! BUT- apparently the Cerave isn't available for purchase online. And I also had success with the solid Vaseline stick that's unscented.
I’ve tried this hack for a week. I have oily and mature skin it absolutely doesn’t work for me. It’s not meant and not stable to hold the integrity of-the concealer. It creased horribly on me and didn’t Keep anything in place. I tried different powders under my eyes and also tried to use blotting paper so it wouldn’t be too thick. Sad to say this hack didn’t work for me. I don’t see why it would work the lip balm is used to moisturize your lips and sit on top. Primer and moisturizer absorbs into your skin and grips foundation and concealer. The lip balm is engineered for a whole different purpose. I wanted it to work however my skin said heck no.
Hey, it's not for everyone. But the concept is that the products sit on top of the barrier and then it prevents any creasing. I've been doing it several times and love it every time. The Smashbox primer with dimethicone is similar in property- it sits on top and creates a surface for the makeup to adhere to. Thanks for watching and taking the time!

Did you use the lip balm after your sunscreen set or before sunscreen?
sunscreen first! Then I wait about 15 minutes at least.
You said Scott Barnes used the large stick, I’m pretty sure he used the lip balm tho.
He used the big stick on the client's neck. I realized that as I was editing.
Does it have to be the stik version or can it be the one in the jar?

I Am so sorry but Scott Barnes did not come up with this makeup hack. I've seen this about 6 years ago. And it's still up on RUclips. It's only trending. because he's J Lo's makeup artist but he did not do this I hate when creators still from. other creators and don't give them their props.🤔😏😔 But this is not here.
