Dahyun originally went viral in Korea as a teenager for her Eagle Dance at her church. She reprised it for JYP himself during the Sixteen survival show. Fun fact: Fortnight made her dance into one of its in game dances.

Something really cool about Dahyun is that pretty much every year for her birthday (May 28) she uploads a cover or something for the fans even though it's her birthday

some extra context to some things that may be confusing!:
-Nayeon is the oldest in the group but often acts like shes the baby of the group which creates a hilarious dynamic
-Jeongyeon is the 'mom friend' of the group, her care for the members and other people is super genuine and refreshing
-Jeongyeon also went on hiatus twice due to a neck injury and anxiety, so you may not see her during some performance videos. She is back with the group again, happy and healthy!
-Momo has a LOT of moments where it seems like shes 2 steps behind whats going on and it creates and absolutely hilarious dynamic with the group
-'Sana is dangerous' was a quote by Mina early on in their careers and it still hold true to this day that woman can be lethal with cuteness or being sultry is bad for my health
-Jihyo's stage Prescence needs to be studied because it's honestly astonishing watching her perform, you're totally gonna love it in the concert. Be prepared for when they sing 'Feel Special'
-Mina's nickname is 'penguin' due to the fact that because of her ballet experience, she sort of walks like a penguin at times!
-She's also like one of if not THE biggest introvert's in K-pop lol
-Dahyun's 'Eagle Dance' went INSANELY viral (It's just a dance she made up for her church lmao), and during 'Sixteen' she performed it in front of her boss JYP which made her more legendary for it lol
-Dahyun also loves to do piano covers and upload them to Onces! her stage is actually a piano and vocal cover of 'Try', it's a delight to watch so I'm sure you'll love it during the concert
-Chaeyoung is called 'baby beast' because of her 'roar'. Shes often associated with a tiger because she looks similar to Simba. She is also the MAIN rapper, with Dahyun being the LEAD' In K-pop its generally 'MAIN-LEAD-SUB' in the categories
-Tzuyu (pronounced similar to Chewy) is the youngest off all them but also the tallest. She has this sort of dry humor thats utterly hilarious and cute but its kinda hard to see because shes one of the more quiet ones on camera
-If you every get the chance, I recommend their 'Time To Twice' series, its basically their own variety show which they have MANY episodes of, I highly recommend their most recent one of 'Fake squid games' as it truly shows a lot of their personalities and dynamics with eachother

Chaeyoung became a ‘baby beast’ not because of her "roar". Originally, she was given the nickname by her Korean fans for looking like a baby beast, especially one of her habits, a grimace, resembles that of a beast threatening its enemies.🐯
At some point, misinformation spread to international fans, which became widely known.😅 But it's true that she often roar.🤣🤣
The reason why so many people love TWICE and have become their fans is not just because they are good at singing and dancing. It is because they have a really good character and are good people like angels.🥰
Unfortunately, as many "stars" become popular, they become arrogant and spiritless, resulting in social and legal problems. These examples already exist.🥲
Even now, 9 years after their debut, TWICE remains humble and always expresses their gratitude to those who support them. After the performance, they always introduce their staff and dancers to the fans and encourage them to receive applause.
In Korea, there are several anecdotes about photographers, broadcast staff, and others who collaborated with them who were moved by their personality and left comments praising their personality in the fan community. This is very rare. There were also fans of other artists who posted posts envious of TWICE's fan love.
JYP, the head of their company, still praises TWICE for their character. Recently, during his comeback, he even praised TWICE's character on air rather than promoting his songs. This is the only one of many artists in his company.
They are literally 9 angels.👼 In a way, it is natural to support good people.💖

It's something called a "Performance Project" that some of the members have done.
Jihyo did a cover of Camila Cabello's "Crown". You should be able to find it if you search for "Jihyo Crown Performance" or something similar.
'21:29' is in 'feel special' EP., and wrote by all members as TWICE answer ONCE's letter.
(the name come because they finish the lyric at 9:29 during their tour and can count as 21:29 which also can interpret as 'to ONCE from TWICE all nine' and it's kind of hit hard because Mina went hiatus during 'feel special' release.)
'celebrate' is a japanese release with EP. the same name, wrote by all TWICE's members and JYP.

this guide shows you the member's positions; Momo does get rap parts but it's pretty rare before, now, however, she gets them a lot. Here are some context that the guide missed or doesn't explain well:
Nayeon
- MC Rail is her raoping alter ego (she's does not have a rapping position but is a really good rapper)
Jeongyeon
- she's the prankster of the group
- she underwent two hiatuses, one for her neck injury, and one for her anxiety
Momo
- she is fully japanese but due to her staying in korea for too long, her japanese fluency has decreased 😂
Mina
- is called a penguin because she "waddles" like a penguin, because her ballet training had basically changed the way she walks

Dahyun (Dubu) was famous even before TWICE, known as "The Eagle Church Sister" with her doing the eagle dance in her church that went viral globally and even becoming a Fortnite emote. 😂 This 2022 guide is great for newer Onces in giving a taste of TWICE songs and showing a bit of their goofy side. Making you yearn for more 🥰

1:04:09 yes! 21:29 is kind of a song for onces, like one in a million which is our fandom theme song, and celebrate was the Japanese m/v title song for TWICE anniversary and the same year they renewed their contract so it was special for everyone, it was on talk that talk era that released the album between 1&2 which has the song "when we were kids" which would be TWICE's closing song if they hadn't renewed, they said it themselves, as they recorded the song with this uncertainty as they didn't know if the others would renew as you saw in the other guide celebrate was written and released for their 7 year birthday (TWICE)

Oh believe me you're gonna have a lot of fun at their concert. I went to Mexico City where VHCA also opened for them and it was mindblowing not only VHCA's show but Twice's. It's definitely my favorite concert I've seen of Kpop so far.

just a little explanation: in kpop there are 3 categories for each position, going from best to “worst” it is MAIN > LEAD > SUB.
so jihyo being the main vocalist means she’s the best vocalist in the group. then there are nayeon and jeongyeon who are the lead vocalists, and the rest of the members are all sub vocalists.
for dance, momo and mina are the main dancers, then nayeon and tzuyu are lead dancers.
for rap, chaeyoung is the main rapper, dahyun is the lead rapper and momo is the sub rapper. momo didn’t get many rap verses in twice’s early discography depsite having a rap position but lately she has many rap parts🥰

TWICE also spoke a lot in Portuguese and exchanged several words like us saying " SAUDE" which means "health" when you raise a drink here, at the beginning of alcohol free and chaeyoung, tzu and nay wrote a text speaking in Portuguese with us, it was all very cute, They are very attentive, and those of you who already speak English naturally, they already know a lot of words, so it will be really cute for you to see them speaking some things in English on the show, even though none of them are fluent.

Hello and thanks for this reaction. To add on to the comments below regarding Dahyun's Eagle Dance, when she was in the 6th grade, she performed this dance with other children in the Church she attends. Dahyun's lone cam of this dance at the time went viral, and she became known for that even before performing it on Sixteen. When I first saw this on Sixteen, I searched the Church videos and saw several, some which show other kids dancing along with Dayhun. I guess the Eagle is a representaion of flying high into the heavens.
I definitely plan on watching the video of her doing it in sixteen 🤣

And btw I am a Sana Stan (though of course all members are constantly wrecking me) and the giddiness I feel when seeing her cute persona is still alive and well 6 years later,. "Main" is a higher position than "Lead", so your assumption was correct-- Chaeyoung was main rapper while Dahyun was lead rapper. Momo is usually the third rapper that sometimes pops in.
Speaking of Eagle Dance, if you don't plan to do Sixteen, it might still be worth checking out just the first mission segments for Dahyun and Sana specifically (even just watching them on your own if you don't want to react to them).
For context, the first mission was what would later evolve into the star quality rounds from A2K/Nizi Project, except that nobody was explicitly told to think outside the box or do anything non-dancing/singing related, and it was really harshly judged. They were just very vaguely told to "Show me what makes you a star" leaving everyone very puzzled about what to do (most just sang/danced). Most agree that Sana/Dahyun's performances were amusing highlights that really demonstrated their charm and established what the whole point of those star quality rounds was in JYP audition shows.

I actually watched the first playing of this video, a once made it for a reactor and at the time it was the best. It does give you some idea of the chaos that is Twice but it doesn't always explain what your seeing, we ONCE's understand but baby ONCE's will have to scratch their heads and dive in. Mina for example she does walk like a penquin but it was JYP in an attempt to get her to correct the problem insulted her with the nickname but as Twice always does they made a joke out of it and ignored him. You think anyone else but Dayhun of Twice would call JYP a dummy to his face. Even her and Chae's cover that you want to see is a paradee of a song by JYP and Rain, I would suggest you watch that first to see the jokes, oh yea they did a trailer for it too it's hilarious (know that Dayhun LOVES chocolate as much as Chae loves Strawberries and check the drinks). The biggest problem it has however is that it uses their debut positions and I'm sorry but Twice has been around for almost 9 years those don't apply any more. The most obvious is calling Sana a SUB VOCALIST, please, she was the main vocalist for MiSaMo's album Masterpiece that smashed a lot of Twice sales records especially in Japan. Maybe it's calling Tzuyu the visual is because well which one ISN'T a beautiful visual, no hate Tzuyu is still perfect I'm just sayin. I could go on but you get my meaning, I do still consider it the best for showing some characteristics but lets be honest it would take days to explain any one of their personalities for that you need to watch a couple of Time To Twice episodes, you like chaos and want to appreciate what these beautiful women suffer through for us ONCE's check out Fake Squid Games. It will be nice to see your Vlog and see how our shared experience differs or maybe is similar. OT9 forever (TIMELESS).
