I never had it on PS2, but I play on an emulator now and decided to try a few new games, this was one of them. And I can't stop playing it, such a tightly woven game. I might try the mods that people have made for it

I love how you transformed into SSJ2 Gohan for Perfect Cell, used the Super Kamehameha against him and saved the Father-Son Kamehameha for Super Perfect Cell at the very end to finish him. It's a nice touch.
I love how we all collectively have accepted, acknowledged, and even come to expect imperfect Cell's voice to be the battle sounds for perfect Cell in all old school Dragonball Z games.

@@ChillExpressions i don't remember the exact explanation of was that the Japanese version used the same voice for all of cells forms and so the English version didn't have any storage slots or something along those lines to add voice recordings for all of cells forms and so they just used his imperfect voice for battles

Well, that's because the japanese Cell doesn't change voice bewtween his transformations, so the devs didn't bother to add different screams for each transformation beacuse there was no need fot it

Well.... Its a TAS.
This is not normal gameplay. He used certain advanced tools/modifications(TAS) that allows him to play perfectly and allow him to correct mistakes in real-time. Search TAS on Google to learn more about it. It is a way to superplay a game without any errors or mistakes in gameplay. Normal people without these special tools cannot always finish perfect and play so flawlessly. It's impossible.

Recently the game had a patch to it, and now people classify him as one of the best characters in the game.

Edit: In the Japanese version, Cell has the same voice actor for each of his forms, so it doesn't seem off-putting that all of Cell's "hurt" sound-effects are Imperfect Cell's. Obviously, in the English version it sticks out when his character model uses the same voice clips no matter the transformation.

This was by far the best dragon ball z in my opinion had all the best characters and even when throwing blasts you had to fight for a win. I just wish they would have remastered it for the ps4.
