Very nice Luis 👍I was there some 14 or 15 years ago, and you can really tell in your video just how much they've been building and how much the city has grown since then. At least twice the amount of high-rises it seems (meaning buildings above 5 stories) . I'll just add a couple of facts that people might be interested in. The sierras of Tandil are part of the same system that ends in Mar del Plata before diving into and under the ocean floor in Cabo Corrientes and Punta Mogotes, they're called the Tandilia system (extending NW towards Olavarria) and the Ventalia system, which is even higher... a little more SW near and north of Bahia Blanca. It is believed they are the remnants of some of the oldest rock formations on the planet still visible. In fact those oscillating boulders were left like that by millions of years of specific rock mineral concentrations and the erosion of everything else happening faster around them. It's unfortunate that people come to appreciate things too often after it's too late to protect the intense rarity of what they later discover, isn't it?. In this case no one knows why The Movediza, the most famous one you showed the replica of fell. The event was unwitnessed by anyone but it is believed the new quarry activities in the area to extract the type of granite found there is what caused it. Also the forests, which I can see you like so much (so do I), were all created by humankind. The only big tree that sometimes reached south into the Pampas (probably not as far as Tandil or MdP) when the Spaniards got there was the ancient Ombú, still surviving in several parks in Buenos Aires you might have noticed. It's a huge Ficus type warm weather semi tropical looking tree, with fat giant branches and a dramatic root system extending high above ground. Argentina only had/has natural forests along the Southern Andes and in the upper 3rd NE part of the country, around The Mesopotamia and specially in Misiones, the only province where it survives unfortunately (check it out on Google Earth). Towards the West in Chaco and such there were and still are low lying forests and palm trees. But everything you see in the Province of Buenos Aires except in the Delta region was planted by humans, which is quite wonderful if you think about it. For example my grandfather came from Italy to Mar del Plata and started nurseries there. When I was a kid my dad use to take me south towards Bosque Peralta Ramos, Alfar, and Santa Cecilia hills to show me places where his dad would have him and my uncle plant rows and areas of trees for different purposes. There is actually one of Mar del Plata's typical four block parks now left inside a residential neighborhood in Punta Mogotes he once proudly wanted me to see, as he had done all the planting along the streets and sidewalks himself while it was still practically campo (countryside ... for lack of a better word)
Man I just paid $65 US for 1 filet mignon. It was me and my wife’s anniversary- needless to say I don’t eat filet mignon very often. The prices of everything there are just hard to wrap my head around. I could probably sell everything here and live for a good long time down there, and I’m not rich.
Can you make the videos about health care? Also immigration , culture, law about who live long term such as married / divorce, alimony and child support. I mean separate videos. Thank you for videos.
Solid content Sito 👌 Drowning my eyes with walking tours lately 😄 Man, if only our Filipino forefathers kept Español in the education system, no doubt, I would be country hoping in all Romantic/Latin speaking countries. It's also a plus that Argentina's Mens Volleyball team is a powerhouse, I'm a big fan 💪❤
I never made it out to Tandil, but it looks beautiful. I got excited when I saw the Balcarce sign in your video. I think it's quite a bit smaller than Tandil, but I remember there was a park with a large concrete dinosaur (Cerro El Triunfo, I think). You can also hike up Sierra la Barrosa for some decent views.
I don't think it's so uncommon here for restaurants to take up to 1 hour when the place is full. Not the usual experience but it has happened to me more than twice. In any case, it's a good sign, if your plate came right away it means they had it prepared and just heated it up when you ordered it.
👍👍😊

I’m going to put Argentina on my list as a place to go. You mentioned you grew up in a Spanish speaking home. Were your parents from Argentina?

Amazing video, greetings from BA
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pls make real estate videos. Pretty interested in taking advantage of the pesos exchange. Greetings from Chile⭐
I hope he can make a video about the job market, employment, what he does for work, or what could an ex-pat from the US maybe do for work! :)
You most likely won't get a job there unless teaching English. Also most Argentines are poorly paid. Best to bring your own outside income in.
@@kennethkilpatrick3758 bummer but thanks for the info! Not sure what I'd be able to do. Guess it's a pipe dream of being an ex pat
you can open a "kiosco" like a little store
So beautiful. Any classic songs from Argentina?
I wish I could use music from Argentina in my videos but they will be copyrighted
Listen "Soda Stereo" you'll love it
The Filet Mignon was very small. I would need two or three of those :)
