David Introducing Kay

In 2003, David began a new approach to supervision involving direct engagement with the practice of his supervisee, Kay. Kay would record and transcribe her sessions, allowing David to suggest alternatives to her questions. These amended transcripts were shared with her clients for feedback. This method evolved into a pedagogy for insider witnessing practices, which they taught together for 10 years at Unitech University in Auckland. In 2017, Tom Carlson joined them to offer international training in narrative therapy. The speaker credits Kay's commitment and creativity for the success of their collaborative work over 20 years.
