This is one of the most impressive performances in rock history.
Pau has said in interviews that her first drum teacher used to make her sing while playing drums to help her practice her coordination. So she's been doing it since she was a little girl. She also practices singing while running. So on top of being super talented she's put a lot of hard work honing her skills.
at over 7k feet elevation too.

If you want to see Pau as a frontwoman, unleashed and out from behind her drum set, should check out their performance of Narcisista at this concert. Her drum teacher Beto Ramos is the guest drummer for that performance.

If you don't know the song and only listen to the sound, you wouldn't imagine that it is the drummer who sings.
Playing drums and singing at the same time is extraordinarily difficult. Great physical ability is required (to separate the voice from the movement and not be out of breath) and mental (independent movements of the 4 limbs and singing at the same time with technique and feeling). That's why good drummer-singers are very rare gems, and Pau is one of them. One of the greats of this era.
Great reaction. Pau runs on a treadmill while singing to get in shape for performances. 23 is an amazing song that often gets overlooked. Try Enter Sandman from the Teatro Metropolitan concert. I have listened this song the most (in past week or two..), and with this song I fell in love to Pau's voice completely...Now I know two lovely ladies who makes my heartstrings sing (Paulina Villarreal Vélez and Floor Jansen).

This was a fantastic real reaction 😂 I fully admit that I am completely obsessed with this band and 23 is easily my favorite song. Pau is such an immensely talented young woman, all three of them are and they’re a refreshing change of pace in a world full of pop. Subscribing for more!

She maintains a straight steady beat on top while tapping out a syncopated beat on the floor through much of the song. AND she sings perfectly and very emotively especially in the third verse.

Automatic Sun and 23 are my number 1 and 2 from TW. It seems that the new album doesn’t have a Pau song, so sad about that. In the other hand Ale’s bass is more prominent on the new album which makes me very happy.

The title is ‘23’. Why? Because it sounded better than ‘19’ 😂. (It was likely written in 2019 & was recorded in 2020) Pau has said it could be an age or a year. I go with year: “fast forward to ‘23, barely old enough to drink.” In the end it’s just a number that sounded good in the lyrics. & the whole thing sounds amazing & hits straight in the feels like every ballad they do😊
Makes sense because Pau turned 21 in 2023
