I’ve been watching you guys for a minute and I’ve enjoyed all of your content. Catching good fish and making good videos! You guys get me stoked to go out
Nice setup . ya it’s a bummer getting one of your flies hooked on the anchor rope , snap goes the rod :-) I didn’t see a air pump ? Thanks for the video.
Love it! One thing that was a little different for us is you have to let enough anchor rope out for the anchor to fall over on its side to hold. Once you do that it's fantastic!
Thanks! Does pretty well, Not as good as some of the NRS style with the huge rockers. I've done a Spicy Class 3 in this boat. If you do a lot of big water get something with more rocker. But this one handles wind better!
Could you tell us about your trailer? It looks like that thing takes a lickn’ and keeps on tickn’. Do you ever worry about having the end of the raft hanging off the back of the trailer?
I have a 30#. Used to have a 25 but didnt hold in some faster water. I do have a double pulley so it only feels like 15 though. a 30 straight might put some hair on your chest in fast water.
Great content! For someone considering a boat, what are the tradeoffs you consider between a raft vs say a "more traditional drift boat" e.g. fiberglass? For me, mobility and flexibility on where I can put in and out of the river are key. Thanks!
exactly what you said! A raft can do everything a drift boat can on the water but a hard boat cant do everything a raft can. Now, the drift boat might be better in some situations like rowing long distance and easier to backrow. But there too many things I do with a raft to not have one.

I like the rod tube setup!

We use a K Pump!
Debarb your flies. Better for the fish and those things don’t happen as often. Just my opinion
Have you fished from one of the smaller rafts like the flycraft stealth or stealthcraft hooligan? If so, what are your opinions on them?
Awesome - been waiting for a boat tour! Let’s hear about the oars and outboard mod you guys run
Sawyer Shoal cut oars. Suzuki 2.5hp 4 stroke outboard.
Great video. Like the tornado anchor?

Man, if I had friends who fished this would be great…. I’m all by myself. Maybe when my boys grow up some
Thanks for all the videos and great flies! How dose this raft do in bigger rapids? What is the highest class rapid you have ran in this raft?
Thanks!

Same Manufacturer as the frame: Montana Raft Frames. It's great! No issues with it hanging rearwards.
Nice video Adam! What size are you running for tornado anchor? If you bought it again would you get same weight? (I have a 13’9’ NRS)

Any reason why you didn’t get a dry box attached to frame?
Cost?
What kind of folding seats do you have on there? I've been looking for something similar. Have you been happy with them?
Tempress, yeah they have been great!
Recommendations on Oars?
Sawyer is best.
If you can't, cataract is my next choice.
How much does the floor bother you in back? I couldn’t see on the MT raft website if they make a rear floor plate.
Floor is OK in the back, generally whoever is back there is sitting. They do make a rear floor.
