Yellowcard was pursuing a $15 million dollar amount, as well as royalties to the song "Lucid Dreams." From what I read, the $15 million amount was excluding additional damage that Yellowcard wanted to pursue. Those additional damages would have been from Juice WRLD's concerts and appearances because they alleged that the song effectively launched his career. While that's likely true, the implied reasoning behind all this is that, to some extent, Yellowcard alleged that _their melody_ and thus _they_ had launched Juice WRLD's career and thus deserved a slice of his success. Absolute leeches. Disgusting.
