    That old stieger is looking like a win for sure!! Our International 4366 was built on a Stieger frame/cab ect but IH put DT466 in thier tractors. Personally i think our MF1805 with the 3208 will out pull the 4366 any day...and the MF cab is MUCH roomier. Great job and awesome video as always!

    I'm glad you washed the dash, that bird poo is very corrosive ,and ruins the paint. Thanks for Sharing. 😊

    Well, now I think you should put that disc on the 1155, find a couple of 25 footers for Turd Ferguson and the Bearcat, then charge $15 an hour for "The Real Farming Experience" to the "City Folk" that think farming is so "Easy".     With a little TLC that thing aughta run like a brand new one, pulling, hay balers, grain carts, planters, anything you put behind it, it aughta pull just fine. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

    Man that turned out to be a sweet tractor ! Small hydraulic hoses for an excavator are north of 200 bucks lately ! It's crazy and being covered in hydraulic wasn't bad enough now they empty your wallet too

    I got 3 different tread patterns on mine too.Those tires cost an arm and a leg. Hope to restore it she has 14000 hrs on it but it's still in good shape. Glad to see people saving these from being scrapped.I hoping to locate a blade and use mine for a snowplow.

      They’re a simple machine, easy to work on and parts (aside from tires) are easy to find and cheap. I’ll keep as many of these oldies alive as I can 😉

    Hi JT, Nice Steiger... I'm not affiliated in any way to Discount Hydraulics. I just have personal experience in re-hosing a 655C Ford backhoe.. Talk about expense! My local guys were a third or half again as expensive on made to order hose assys. Discount Hydraulics pricing ,speed of delivery and, they have most every fitting you would ever need. Looking forward to the paint episode!!

    The ole Cat 3208, probably my least favorite Cat engine of all time. But I do love the sound. They sound like there is something there waiting to get out, and then you hit a hill and the Cat turns into a kitten LOL.
    Love to see someone save old equipment from the scrap yard.

    Nice to see the Steiger getting some TLC and working on the field! The hydrolics seemed to be very fast. I like these old Steigers but Massey-Ferguson is and wil be my First Love!
    I love that last clip!!!😂 Parking lot... made me smile!

    Needs new tires raincaps on the exhaust face them opposite of each other. Fix the AC. We had a Wildcat had the same motor. We pulled a big fold up sprayer disk no problems. Had. Saddle tanks on it.

    After it has a few more working hours, do a valve lash adjustment on it. Itll help even it back out and make a bit more power for no extra fuel.

    That three point hitch is a rare option to see here in Canada on a Steiger. That is a pretty awesome feature to see. I buy the cheap hydraulic hose too out of our equivalent to tractor supply. They seem fine. 👍🍻

    Pretty good running tractor you got there. Good job changing all the filters and oils, no short cuts. Noticed the second dash gauge from the left is not working. What is it for. Good job.

    Glad it is running good! MF makes good tractors but the hydraulics are not the fastest in the world compared to other brands at that time. It will me interesting when you do the comparison

    Just found your channel, really enjoying the content. You cleaned out the cab filters so did it come out with a/c from the factory or are those filters for vents? I am not familiar with these machines. Thanks and keep up the great work.

      Thanks for checking us out! I don’t think this was an ac machine. No sign of condenser or a compressor mount, and nothing in the cab. I’ve seen these with ac and with this was one lol. These are just vents from the outside to in the cab

    If you fill the filter with diesel before installing it you are putting fuel on the clean side of the filter that could contaminate the filter. Off to the the expensive injector pump that fuel goes. I never did that, also when changing hydraulic hoses if one blew I changed them all, as the other ones would be full of contaminated oil.
    Let the city people buy there $30,000 quads. Who has more fun.

    I'm enjoying the many similarities between this tractor and my Stieger built IH 4366. Except for the engine and differentials it is the same. Could you show on a video how the brakes are on this tractor? Mine has 1 large disk on the back on the transmission. The lower shaft runs through it.

      Same on this one. Has a large disk between the trans and transfer case.

    Another 3208 screamer!! I wish the 1805 had the hydraulic reservoir behind the cab like that Bearcat. Pain in the azz when you want to pull the hood on the 1805 and you have 12 gallons of hydraulic fluid hanging on the underside. Even thought of relocating the tank. Even so....think I like my 1805 better.

    Seems to run really smooth. You gonna adjust the valves? Not sure if injectors have adjustment. Window tint would look cool. How many hours do you plan to run per year?

      I may adjust the valves, they click a little when it’s cold, but I think for now I’m just gonna let it roll

      I sold it to my cousin. He just started farming and needed a cheap horse. Since I have the 1155 I let him have the 1100. Of coarse it will come back if he decides to upgrade 😉

      I found those on eBay. Search tractor splitting stands and they should come up. They are 10k lb stands and I believe they were in the $500 range

      Cat played around with quite a few V8's in the past. The 3408 was a mean old girl on the road but pretty hard on fuel.

    It’s not gook looking hydraulic oil, best before date has long pasted. Tail end looked like water.
