I’m noticing all your best games start with a very early high growth cap, even if production is lacking. I’ve been really focusing on early growth lately and keeping up to date on housing in all my cities. I find if you keep a close eye on growth/housing good things will naturally happen.
Well played! Why don't you build city walls in your cities? It is production to tourism efficient if you use Limes card. It expires at Ideology though, so you need to plan it well. Empire lens helps planning Natural Parks as it draws the borders between cities.
Is Liang 4 the meta over Moksha now? Or was it just because of the crazy deer start? I played a Secret Societies game with the mod recently and Liang 4 was so quick it was completely busted but I didn't know if that translated as well to normal play or not.
Liang is strong when you have 5-7+ resources in the city but I wouldn't go as far as saying it's meta because you do feel the science and culture loss from not going Moksha or Pingala
Tbh a lot of culture civs kinda cancel eachother out, Canada and Sweden are strong through because their tourism comes in the mid game rather than a slow build up like Greece
Super stuff, love the videos. Interesting to see Canada in action. Just a gentle reminder. Its GRANARY (as in grandmother) not GAINARY (as in grain).
It's embedded in my vocab, I can't say it and it sounds Americanised with a hard "a"
@@UnderCiv I saw you were making an effort in a recent video. British use "gra.nuh.ree" while Americans tend to "gra.nr.ee" .... Keep trying.
Let’s go big W

I should probably watch some games back tbh, it's hard to see your own mistakes when you're against a turn timer and focusing a lot on chat

I probably would if the tourism came earlier than conservation, by 10ish tourism doesn't seem worth it at that stage
The reason that hockey rink had +7 culture was
+6 from adjacent tundra
+1 for being a tundra tile (from St. Basils)
Ah yeah makes sense

We dont put fucking syrup on pizza in Canada, you euros are crazy. Also why is the Canadian music our anthem? lol
I just realized how great a counter pick Canada is to Persia

I was confused how Canada can even remotely be viable in competitive multiplayer until I read the changes to the civ and leader on the loading screen.
Yeah I keep the loading screen in the vods on purpose so people can ready the changes
@@UnderCiv and that's what I appreciates about you
Omg I'd have been in tears if someone sniped a diplo win right as you had enough tourists
You might like an upcoming game then ;)
@@UnderCiv don't tell me that happened 🤣
You'll have to wait and see
@@UnderCiv I'm halfway through the Indonesia vod atm and then I gotta start the Persia one
