Bought this bike a few months ago, freaking love it.
Initially I thought that was the damn Undertaker in the beginning 😂
I just bought a 2005 version of this. Put a new battery in it, cleaned up the carbs and fuel system, caliper issue, and needs some new gauges. But total I got it for (after fixing it up) $3500 and that includes brand new tires. I'm not gonna complain. It's my first bike so I'm pumped.
Erik buell new a thing or two about getting the most from this sportster engine
The paint and style of this sportster is off the hook!
Love my 02 buell thunderbolt, would love a sportster like this parked beside my buell
Would be a match made in heaven!
Best looking sportster ever built by far, The 72 comes second.
I agree. These and the '03 anniversary 1200 custom.
100% agree. I have this same bike 2005 w/ screaming eagle package.
I really like the 1200r, Probably one of my favorite sportsters of all time. I have a 2004 1200c and if I were to get another sportster I would get a 1200r
I've got one exactly like it and I absolutely love it but there is no way I could ever get 200 miles out of one tank of gas . 120 would be possible but not if I was riding it hard just like it was designed to be ridden . Best Sportster ever !
Love my 06 sporty1200…very fun and efficient to cruise around on,very light weight and nimble. Great bike
I'm picking up an 06 1200 low this Saturday. Great deal, beautiful bike, and only 6k miles
That’s my baby ,but with the 3,3 gallon tank you will get if you’re lucky maybe 120 miles Kaplan
1200R Baby! From chi town can’t wait til spring.#SPORTSTERSQUAD
I have got same one. 2006! but in black pearl.
i have a 04 orange and cream ,love it
If you're in the market for a Sportster and you don't go out and seek a 2004 - 2006 Roadster after watching this then there's something wrong with you .( I've already got one ! )
Would be better if the mic was turned up. Love those Sporty Rs.
beauty. got an 05 just like it.
great video and bike…….my dream sportster
Quit dreaming and buy one . I did 😁
I own a 2008 Roadster with the 4.5 gal tank , pacific pearl blue my bike has only 4, 600 mi on it original and my bike has never seen rain nor ever has been washed I keep it protected in my garage under a dust cover My roadster is flawless and I enjoy it alot , my bike is also factory stock .
I put 7,000 miles on mine in the first six months of ownership . Would be well on my way to another 7,000 if we weren't observing Lockdown . 😷🇬🇧
Definitely going to have to come and Tore your facility Don WV
Yeah got my eyes on one just as I was going for a Triumph Bonnie. I was like nooope im going for the sporty. Its beefy but nimble - best of all worlds
That is not a king size tank but it's a nice bike. I have you same year chromed with stage 2 Cobra ss intake.. Vance& Hines short shots stage 12, dyno tuned,75 Hammer big bore. But the cool thing about it is everything down to the seat is mod aftermarkets.. but they kept it all pretty original. I love it but My tank is like twice the size of that and mine's in XLR but it's an Xl custom R. Lot of people don't know that Harley-Davidson made a dyna glide model called a low glide. They only made so many of them. Yeah I love 1200 sportera there a badass?
Cooler than 💯🏁
I don't understand why it doesn't happen anymore. I like this R bike.
Did he say bone stock? You said high compression pistons
I have a 2004 Roadster I bought new, and never really rode the thing. It has 100 miles on it, and looks like factory new in my climate controlled warehouse. The tires still look new as well.
I guess I should sell it.
We are interested text or call sr at 860 916 9784
Where are you located ? NorCal by any chance lol
Nice bike and jacket man
how many turn signals have been ripped off going threw the doors
I'm looking at a 05 1200 xlh roadster... but also a 04 and a 06. All in very similar condition all under 10k miles. Any benefits to a certain year? Other than rubber mounts?
XR1200! love them.
Screaming Eagle filter but stock mufflers ??
I own a 2008 roadster pacific pearl blue color , 4.5 gal tank . only 4, 500 original miles . Haven't been able to ride it last 2 years due to my health unfortunately .
Sell it to us
@@KaplanCycles My roadster has never seen rain not one drop it still looks new I keep it under a dust cover in my garage , I go out to start it up once in awhile runs great , I added some chrome to it belt guards , oil tank and battery cover and I still have the original black powder coated parts in protective boxes in case I do sell it so the new owner can say it's all original . The paint is perfect no scratches I only used harley bug remover and harley gloss to wipe it down after I rode it years ago . I have a video of it here on you tube . I'm grateful for your offer to buy it however i'm kind of using it as inspiration to get better so I can ride again but unfortunately I am no where near healthy enough to ride it yet . I love your videos here on you tube I watch every one and I am subscribed to your channel you have shown some amazing bikes keep up the great work .
I got one of that bike in Mirage Orange.... it ain't 70 horse though - check out the accessory catalogue, the dyno graphs show it as 55 bhp......
Maybe stock, because stage 1 is 70 bhp for sure.
@@omarsalgado9715According to the accessory catalogue, just the stage one air filter is not 70 rear wheel horsepower - you'll need the exhausts changing as well. I think the main difference is that stock the bhp and torque figures are at the crank - the accessory catalogue graphs are rear-wheel power. If you check on RUclips here the standard bike is only 55bhp, and the whole of H-D's claimed power figures do not match the figures Cycle World get on the Dyno !
If the heads are removed and 'massaged' a little your 70 bhp figure could maybe be improved - I would look at Hammer Performance for advice there as they are the Masters of Sportster power - a little compression increase and camshafts can do wonders and porting the heads, well, see for yourself on their site !
@@thakery5720 Mate, there are tons of power/RPM charts showing that a stage I Sportster is capable of 70 bhp. But it is not bhp that's funny in a Sportster or any H-D V-Twin; it is lots of torque right from the start. That is what makes a H-D so addictive.
Is the 1200r& 1200 sport the same? Thank You. 👍👍
The R is for roadster, it's a performance package w dual front disc brakes & other upgrades
High performance Harley....sort of like Military Intelligence...
Still for sale?40245 zip code
How tall are you?
He makes it look like a 20 inch BMX bike🤣
sMALLER IS bETTER!
